Joyboy is inspired by the carriban myth of the same name , its a legend about a spirit that plays with a drum a cheerfull song that you cant help but dance to, he is also related to the freeing of slaves , witch is also part of the nikka tale in one piece

Not really. Technically all mythical zoan users are "gods" as the power from their fruit is directly connected to various mythical entities that existed/exist through out the one piece world. Kaidos dragon, yamatos wolf god, Marcos phoenix. But Luffy's is definately on the stronger end, as it's supposed to have been shared with a man 800 years ago who changed history. So obviously it has to be stronger.

@@Hoggod Yeah technically they are except Luffy is one of the actual 4 gods mentioned back in Skypiea unlike the rest of the other mythical zoan users you named. The other 3 gods haven't been mentioned yet but we know the names of them from Fishman Island and there's only one 'god-like fruit that we know of and that's Sengoku and he's Buddha
