I love how you can see the age in the eyes. That look it had, the tired eyes like it has been through this many times before and is just saying "alright just let me go already" like an old man who has been through a ton in life. Gotta respect those fish.

I just want to tell you Justin, I’ve been subb’d way longer than you’ve been getting paid for this. All the same; I’ve learned more about whisker patterns and tendencies watching you than I learned in 30 years growing up in the Arkansas River Valley running trot lines in the 90’s. I wish you all the best in 2022 and a bountiful garden in the spring and early summer.

I moved up to South Carolina from Florida 2 1/2 years ago started watching your channel. Before I moved was interested in trying a new type of fishing. I purchased a kayak and just recently started trying to catch catfish from the lessons I’ve learned watching your channel.

That was a whopper of a blue kitty. I bet it was a good fight getting it in. I finally got my first catfish sumo rod and reel combo today and brother I love it already. I'm looking forward to trying it out on those whoppers you go after. It's already one of the best rods I've ever got before.

One day when I am independently wealthy, I am going to send you some plane tickets. Then I will give you an ocean kayak and take you to the canyon I fish out of Ventura Harbor. It is actually Channel Islands Harbor, but it is in Ventura, CA. There is a canyon just south of the harbor that gives great structure for the fish. Most folk fish for trophy fish or great eating fish like whitefish (we call them tacos) and sheepshead. I often go after catfish. I won a charter tournament with a catfish. They get big in the ocean. I have never landed (it is harder than you think) a big catfish from a kayak, but I just bought a HUGE Penn Senator rod and reel set up. It takes up to 200 lb test. It is the largest and heaviest rod and reel I have ever held. The plan is to catch a monster ocean cat and have it tow me miles from shore so the coast guard has to rescue me......... LoL! Anyways if this was a perfect world, I would take you deep cat fishing in the ocean. Love the videos and if I am ever traveling through Tennessee, I will find you and we will go deep cating......

Man kinda disappointed would put that one gollywhopper class and didn't see no figure 4.😂🤣😂 Will cut you a little slack since you didn't have much floor space and all the line tangles. Spencer with River certified went to the Amazon in South America and was catching big peacock bass to use as bait catching monster catfish. When I say monster, he was going after 300 pounders. Maybe you should think about it. I know it's easier said than done.
