The Honda Civic build begins (and not on the best note). We continue the civic transformation to add some more tasteful mods and take care of some MESSY maintenance to keep the ball rolling.
My budget built 1999 Honda Civic Ex Coupe has gained a ton of recent attention, and I want to give the people what they want. I've cleaned up the car to a great starting point, but will continue to add mods over the upcoming months. Wheels, Suspension, and more to make it an all around clean daily driver. Many people have requested a k swap, or some Honda engine swap to really beef up the car, but with a perfectly working D16Y8, I want to take advantage of getting the looks of the car dialed in.
In this episode, I install the much desired EM1 Si Grill to add some spice to the front end of the car. In my opinion, this is a tasteful mod that really adds an aggressive look (in civic standards). But let's not overlook the fact that I almost blew up my engine to the stupidest mistake that I could have made with an oil filter. But, like any car related task, this can happen to the best of us. One step forwards and 2 steps back, right? Anyway, I do eventually change the oil on my Honda Civic.
If you're interested in the cool detailing items I used to make my car look pretty, I'll put the links down below! Thank you all for watching and subscribing!
