The Japanese are awful with letting their history be recorded and questioned by anyone other than their few authorized groups. Kofun tombs are still kept closed to archeologists and other researchers, foreign historians don't really get authorization to research other camps either. As far as they care, history books so far are good enough and anything that they disaprove of gets erased.

Apparently, there was an uncensored version of Cream Lemon that was available in (wait for it!) Brazil. And there's a group of people putting the uncensored footage into the originals. I've seen a couple episodes, and they are very cultured.
