Maru is the “greenest” cat I’ve ever seen. He is doing wonderful things for our environment by repurposing items into toys and entertainment that would otherwise gone in the trash! I love him.

How long have you known Maru? I've know him since 2007 and people on random internet forums would make infinite gifs of him leaping out of boxes. It makes me happy that people are still discovering him to this day!!

I’ve known Maru since he was a kitten. Mugumu started showing her films on KZfaq but she stopped for a while. Then when she started showing him again she helped to teach him how much fun it is being a famous film star. And that’s when the world learned about Maru and Mugumu. The kittens came much later. Hanna first. Maru was always trying to teach him but he isn’t as clever as Maru. Then Mirri came but she isn’t as clever as Maru either. Maru is the breed of cat called Scottish Fold but Maru’s ears aren’t folded over. The Scottish Fold is a very clever breed and they enjoy playing with their mummy and daddy.

Any normal cat would've ignore the net or be annoyed by it if it was forced to wear, but not Maru, Maru just sticks his head by himself and sticks with it and you can see from his tail that he finds it fun/interesting, Maru has got to be one of the cats with most personality in history.

99.99% of cats would be irritated by a box or a net on their head. It's not natural for them, they need their whiskers to be free, but not so for Maru. He gets into a trance-like ZEN state after he puts on a box or a net on his head or his body LOL. I've not seen anything quite like it hahaha
