Sweet memories.. my single mom always struggled at end of the month.. We had these and she baked them in the oven, just like a loaded potato stuffing, cheese on top og a pan full of hot dogs . It filled us up and we had bo idea until we were older why... Man, the love of mothers. Thank you for reminding me!!! Ive gotta fix this for my grandbabies .. ❤❤❤

I know everyone is free to change up the recipe, so as I watched it i was thinking about those onions and I watched until the end. So I'm thinking it might be a good idea to chop the onions a couple of times probably would bake a little faster and look a little cooler eating it.

Justine I don't understand why so many people want to correct your pronunciation. Would they do that in person to you? I think not. The main thing is you made a delicious dish. "I love onions " like the song said back in the 1950s. Onions are healthy, favorable, can be used various ways. Besides the delicious way you prepared them they are great raw, cooked in stew, a roast, on a pizza, roasted with butter and Worcester sauce in center, in a dressing, a dip with sour cream etc. If you have onions lots of dishes can take on a different flavor including scrambled eggs with onions. Love those little pearl onions with sweet peas 🫛. Keep cooking. Great 👍 👌 chef giving people new ideas 😊 🎉 🌹 💙 💜 💖

People absolutely would correct her in person, probably nicely. No one in the history of ever has ever heard it pronounced that way. 😅

I would've thought of Onion as a side dish. I probably won't do this recipe, but you have given me an idea. Thank you 😊

Onions aren't cooked all the way nor are they carmelized. Carmelized onion are amazing. And it's "Cree-ole".
