It is something that sounds common in many of the emerging artists that we see on the networks every day, but the truth is that it is not an easy thing, neither economically nor emotionally. It is a test to measure our mettle, I congratulate you Carly because this is something for the braves! In the end, life is not about things, it is about ourselves interacting with the world and this, art, is what gives meaning to our existence as artists.

Peace and well-being be forever upon you my fellow artist. Haven't commented in 4 months for the fact that school has started. Psychology requires much time management. Had to put art business on hold, but it has been a struggle not drawing as the days have gone by.

A lot to admire here (skill, courage, attractiveness) I wish I could draw the way you do although it is difficult to capture on video the struggle that (I assume) is always part of every artistic project to some degree (and part of life in general). Easy to feel jealous watching someone, seemingly, doing it better than oneself. Thinking about one’s own work is how I try to deal with that

First thing first great video as always and stunning artworks you're an amazing artist. I'm struggling to get back into into drawing I used to draw all the time but now especially after failing the internship and not getting the job idk what happened I'm not enjoying anything, if you have some advices about this maybe make a video about that. And maybe a video if an artist can make it without a real job . Thank you very much keep putting that beautiful art into the world keep going

I love the "etching" and crosshatch technique you used on this one. Are you familiar with the pencil art of the late American artist Paul Calle? His technique with graphite consisted entirely of hatch marks, without any blending. If you've not seen it, I would highly recommend his book "The Pencil." An artist with your talent would love it!

Amazingly done. I have followed you a great while now and have enjoyed your journey along with you. I, myself, have been drawing since youth. Everyone tells me that I’m wasting my time working a normal job and should be doing art full time. My concern has always been that I do art out of enjoyment and if I did it full time it would become a job. The fear is I would lose the enjoyment and creativity of it. Did that happen with you or did you fear the same?
