How many of such women can swallow their pride, own up and be that courageous to tell such "FORBIDDEN " subject to the world? You can count. Lynn, this is a unique case told by an intentional, beautiful soul for many to learn and review their life. Disclaimer!!, my wife did exactly that albeit minus our kids and after two weeks, she realised her error of judgement. These things are in vogue in our society today but is never told. Leah is one of a kind. Leah, allow me to commend you for that move and remind you that you are so beautiful and authentic. You have taught many women out there that marriage indeed works if both parties put their efforts, purpose and intention to it. Marriage is so good guys, but its success must come from you not the other party. Leah came to her realisation that she had something to give in her marriage, interrogated her conscience and God revealed to her that this was the man that He purposed to her. A marriage with God's blessings can't fold. Guys, there is no pride or ego when it comes to marriage. Marriage brings in values and purpose then the rest falls into place. I also wish to remind us that the best and most successful marriage can manifest where and when both of you places your past aside and place your values to the table then agree on how, as a unit you can navigate and model life in the way you think best. What I am saying in simple terms is, outsiders will never help you build your marriage but destroy it. They weren't there when you met or when discussing and agreed on your trajectory. To that extent then, they are strangers to your marriage just as they are not part of your life journey or painful experiences. Leave 3rd parties out of your relationship and be nil or scanty in sharing anything about your partner and marriage in social media groups. Leah's story in respect of her father, is indeed sad and unfortunate. Leah, sorry for the childhood trauma you endured but God has it all positioned for you to your destiny. It is well. Men, when a relationship has failed, bringing another woman to your matrimonial bed is a big NO. There are several ways you can approach or handle your relationship without causing unnecessary bitterness or subjecting your children to such experience that Leah and many more go through. With the advent of alternative means of resolving differences like counseling, church etc, you can do it guys. AIDS, STDs, Traumas you inflict on the innocent children like Leah, and the shame that you alone go through among men, all these is unwarranted. It doesn't matter what anyone can say about women, but our mothers are awesome. Majority of women do a lot in terms of shaping humanity. Many women out there including my own mother are transformative to matters children welfare, albeit, away from public glare. Social media is exposing some stories of women power and how much they impact society at large. But the truth is, there are so many silent mothers like Leah's that have done wonders that never come to public gallery. We see other great women even here on Lynn's show. As we celebrate international women's day on Friday 8, 2024, I request all of Lynn's loyal fans to join me in Celebrating Leah's mother, Lynn the icon herself, and all women in the world for being wonderful mothers to all of us. I postmously celebrate my own mother for single handedly taking me to university through Busaa brewing, my wife for giving me 4 great men and women and my two daughters for making me feel the proudest and fulfilled father in the world. Happy international women's day to all.

Lynn it's 22.50 as I write this. I didn't realize it was two hours and a half long. I'm an introvert and clearly resonate with her story. To be sincere, I was feeling like I was in a bottomless pit. I felt no one understood me and that my feelings were awkward. I held pain and confusion for as long as I can remember. I'm was very good at building blocks to prevent communication. I always related on the surface even with my own spouse,I always felt we were too close yet too far....I can write a book . But come the mid of Feb this year,I sought help. You have no idea how I felt when I was able to realize and analyze those patterns. I'm still walking this journey. And the most amazing thing has been self awareness and introspection. If you don't mind, I would love the April masterclass to continue learning more. Thank you for this authentic guest,Leah; for being vulnerable and sharing her story. Aki thanks Lynn.

Leah, wow, so good to see you here. Leah and her family were our next-door neighbours in Tudor Mombasa, and I saw her parents get married and how their family started. Leah was an outgoing, lovely inquisitive child, and she loved coming to our house next door, and we'd carry her. Her Mom was a gem, and her father was a brilliant Accountant. He worked in KPA with my Dad, in different sections (our Dad was in Operations). We were sad to see how their family went. My Dad and all our siblings loved them. We remember when Leah's Mom came as a newlywed, after their wedding, from Nanyuki if I recall, with pomp and extended family. They were three sweet girls. Hugs and proud of you! Alice M. South Africa

As a young person looking forward to marriage in the near future, there's a lot to learn. Insights from Leah: * Marriage works when both parties work towards it's betterment * Accept there's something wrong and then Work on yourself, focusing on your future, not stagnating in the past. *Conquer your fears. *The most that a person can tell you is a NO, you'll have done your part. * It's okay to make mistakes and move beyond them. * Apologize and mend the broken 💔 bridges even with no tied favours in return.

Dear Lynn, the guest is right that you are a very authentic person even for us that have only met you on screen. These stories on marriage/relationships and womanhood are very eye opening. If only there was a subject at school on how to relate in society, family, marriage etc. I bet we would be very far as a society. My take home from Leah is, "when you see an opportunity, take it. God will bring you chances but it's upto you to go for it." Lynn, as you head to 1 million, which is around the corner, you have inspired us over and over to just get started on our dreams and keep showing up. I recently started out on KZfaq, one day I will host you when you visit France 😊.

When one leaves a marriage, even if there is a reconciliation later, there're things that can never be the same. The partner will never forget that you can just switch off and on the marriage at wish. To avoid getting hurt in an eventuality of a relapse, they can never give you their 'heart' again. They can still reinstate the physical commitment for the sake of the kids, but they'll still never regain from the emotional ambush. Sometimes, they'll be emotionally preparing for how to live without you, just in case you leave again. Sorry, this is not the perspective that many would wish to look at it from, but I could be speaking on behalf of many. In my opinion, I won't advocate for the gentleman to be pulled onto the podium. Don't pressure him to speak at this point. Healing from such a turmoil would be a journey. Just when he thought that his family was together, it broke. Just when he was trying to get to terms with the unpleasant outcome, reconciliation. I know sometimes he's not even sure whether he'll find her when he returns from work. There're fears and mistrusts that were unlocked, which he might never speak about, for fear of being seen or blamed as an impediment to reconciliation. The same fear would compel him to join in to an interview and state how he's happy with the progress. At some point, the lady felt ready to leave marriage, but was he ready? At some point, she felt ready for a reconciliation. Was he ready? At a stage, she felt ready to speak it out and share the lessons learnt. Is he ready, and what has he learnt? Maybe he's still trying to understand the breakup😅. I speak from a man's perspective. Please don't rush him. You might leave him emotionally confused and stranded; a passive audience in a theatre of marriage.

If anything, it's the gentleman, who seems like a loser in this, for your partner to decide to just leave, even after saying those wedding vows, then come back when things out there get tough...is just taking advantage of someone's kindness. This situation reminds me of a partner who's caught cheating or involved in infidelity....yes, it may seem that he/she has forgiven you, but believe me, things will never be the same again, either they switch something off, of what they thought/felt of the partner, or they are slowly thinking of how to end the partner. This is where you have two people living in a household like strangers, smiling in public but complete strangers in the house, just roommates. But let this woman, know, once a guy knows that you can/will leave when things get tough, trust me, when things get really good on his side, he will return the favor, let her not deceive herself, that "all's well, they have forgiven each other and they have moved on." This is just the cold reality.

Very inspiring show today. The moment both parties in a relationship realise that apology and / or forgiveness is a virtue, the better. I believe that if 75% of women listening to this girl can take time to process the message deep down, many marriages at the verge of failure will make a complete turnaround paradigm shift. When stories are told by women who decide to be vulnerable like Leah, serious individuals listen using ears and hearts for the information to sink in for a better self. Each of Lynn's guests has a message that may impact each one of us differently. Let us not listen for the sake of it. I implore upon each of us to be taking these stories with the seriousness they deserve. Lynn spends so much time and financial resources to bring guests to this global platform. Its upto us to individually decide what to do with the message. Lynn, continue doing us proud.Someone somewhere is watching unknown to you. One day, you will get another global award on merit. We love you. I keep praying for you, for I know the sky is the limit for you.

Hey team Lynn, This has been an awesome conversion. The title doesn't quite express the gem that this guest is. Please bring her back because she's presented a lot in 2 hours. I believe that she covers topics across generations. 1. For the younger and generation that's growing up very entitled, she brings a beautiful story of resilience, determination and hard work. 2. To anyone who may have emotional issues, recognizing that mental health is key, depression is real, she can also talk on postpartum depression. 3. Transformational coaching!! I broke it down like that but will also reach out to the guest as well.

My 1st wife left with two of our children when she had a high flying job. She later realised (and was told by many that) her reasons for leaving her marriage were trivial. Hiyo tu???? She later brought back the children. After three years she gathered courage to ask me that we get back together. I was bitter about the things she had talked about me. I also was cowardly to say yes for the sake of my children. She had a hard time as a single lady and could not hold jobs. She later died and I have always regretted not being man enough to protect her from her own emotions and the world.

Finally I've heard someone talking of patterns which i realised recently was happening to me ...most of the things I've gone through sometimes silently, my mum also went through the same..from the choice of a husband and so much more but I'm glad that still subconsciously i was able to take myself out of a situation that crippled her life to a point she was not able to bounce back until date ...since then I'm taking everything in life very intentionally and making sure i have life conversations with my mum frequently to be able to make the right choices in face of adversity

Hi Lynn. I am interested in the masterclass, pleases select me, guys, please vote for me. I love Leah, I connected with her in a previous Interview she did on NTV's Unscripted with Grace Msalame, and I wanted to really connect with her then but there no way of reaching her. Somehow I knew one day I would and I believe this is the perfect timing of the Lord. I really need transformation in my life, So Lynn, please select me.

Leah your experience at campus your education journey speaks to what most of us went through and what students go through. Thank you for accepting to be vulnerable with us. You need to mentor first year university students. I used to run a Get on Board with Campus Life Initiative, im going to revisit it snd revamp it with some tips from your story. Thank you for giving marriage a second chance, for accepting responsibility for wrong doing. Be blessed.

She's such an inspiration.

I am deeply inspired and would love to be mentored. I am turning 28 soon, in the USA and feeling lost and somehow giving up sometimes. All my family including my 4 year old is back in Kenya, I am the bread winner and I hate to show my weaknesses and struggles to them. But deep down, I am breaking but I don't want to give up.. I want to be wholesome again for my child, my family, and all my loved ones.

Her story has really touched me especially the KU school fees challenge. Am currently at Kenyatta University on a self sponsored program. The struggle is really, I was supposed to complete last Dec but I deferred one sem of which am now concluding by April. The worse of it is that my spouse has never been supportive for the whole 5 years I have been in KU. I dont have a formal employment, I have really strained to make ends meet for my family and my studies. She has really spoken to my heart....
