In today's episode, host Jared finds himself facing a dilemma as he breaks a promise he made to himself about modifying his cheap Cadillac Escalade. What started as a simple inspection turned into a revelation when he discovered a severely worn suspension in desperate need of replacement. Instead of sticking to his original plan, Jared saw an opportunity to transform his SUV into something more sporty and less utility-driven.
Join us as Jared takes you through the process of lowering the Escalade, giving it a sleek and aggressive stance that turns heads on the road. But amidst the clinks of wrenches and the whirr of power tools, one question looms large: is this the end of the modifications, or will Jared find himself breaking that promise once again?
Tune in to witness the journey of The Questionable Garage as Jared navigates the fine line between utility and performance, with each modification bringing new challenges and surprises. Don't miss out on the excitement, subscribe now and hit the notification bell to stay updated on all our automotive adventures!

I used to race in a spec class.small block 350 Chevy two barrel Holley 500cfm.9.5 compression ratio.I noticed they ALWAYS checked cylinder #1.WELL my engine ran 9.5 on cyl.one.all 7 others were 11.5 also I ran a fairly big cam and to hide the cam I incorporated a vacuum leak and it idled @ 1500 rpm, this also helps with engine braking going into corners."If you're not cheating you're not winning".

I am going to summarize how well that anti seize works. I spent a summer as an assistant to pipefitters at a potash solution mine. Concentrated high temperature salt water. Bolts for pipe connections come off fine when you use that. If you didnt, then out comes the biggest impact wrench. A two hander we nicknamed armbreaker because it would break your arm if you didnt use two hands. That still wasnt enough. If somebody did not use copperkote on the bolts. You HAD TO spend an hour cutting them off with a torch and drive them out with a massive sledgehammer. Just a couple minutes work when copperkote was used.

@@TheQuestionableGarage In a future video, Jared says "I'm going to polish those nasty headlights." Man, Jared, I’ve got to say. Watching how much you’ve come into your own with KZfaq over the past several years has been really enjoyable and inspiring to watch. The content you’ve been producing has been of great quality, the diversity in vehicles and modifications have kept things very interesting, and your dedication to *finishing* projects is refreshing. Of course, a tip of the hat to Editor Dwayne for continuously improving his craft and helping make your videos that much more fun to watch. Kudos to the whole Questionable team, I’m very excited to see what 2024 holds for you all! p.s. as a Northern Michigander, yes, I am jealous and a little bit spiteful every time I see you simply wiggle a component off. Side steps look like bookshelves on lowered escalades! Also… you use a lowered truck to take your doggos to the trails? Surely they would be more comfortable on an air ride setup which can lower at the touch of a button? Plus with air ride theyre less likely to be squashed against the windows as you wouldnt be hoofing it into corners etc? Each to their own i guess :)

Concerning penetrant and the best of them, AeroKroil.. if you can get even 1/64" of play, kroil will find its way inside rusted bolts and nuts. It WILL work. It may have to sit for 30 minutes, and it may cost your first born to purchase, but it is totally absolutely 1000% worth it. I use it VERY SPARINGLY. I have had the same can of kriol for probably 3 years now.. Only on the worst of the worst, but when you have a stuck ANYTHING, it works.. : )
