A manager arrives and agrees with staff and decides to get legal advice.

He had obviously gone in and been told that it is perfectly legal to film in a public place. Originally he was giving it the big I am. Threatening to call the police thinking he could assert authority. Typical jumped up middle manager really. Won’t have it from anyone he sees as below him but will take it as gospel if someone more senior or someone with clout says it

I enjoy the videos but there’s no denying their sarcasm to provoke a response is what causes problems.. they’re intentionally waiting for a reaction. If they were really nice they’d get no reaction and no one would watch.

@@zone93designs Nah i think that if people were less trying to act like they know things while they obviously don't as we can see in a lot of videos, there would be no content. I agree, the provocation is a bit here with the sarcasm, but he's polite and explains himself when they are respectful and doesn' thide himself. The question is : Is it more concerning that he wants a reaction or that people often try to tell others what to do while they have no idea what they're talking about ? (especially police officers)

Appears DHL handle logistics for Nestle Purina and on 2009 street view Wincanton managed logistics. A 2018 article on Nestle noted a film 🎥about their Wisbech operations excerpt: "Nestlé Purina’s Wisbech site originally started life as a jam factory, and is now one of the largest employers in the area. More than 600 people currently work at the factory and there are more than 20 different nationalities working together to produce some of the UK and Europe’s best-selling pet food brands, including Felix, Winalot, Gourmet, Bakers and Friskies. In addition to the main site, just a mile away, more than 300 DHL employees work for Nestlé Purina Wisbech in the multi-packing facility. Here, the products produced at the factory are prepared for transportation around the UK and further afield into Europe." it comes under I.C.O guidelines, i think from memory the age is 14 and under where the data processor has to make sure he has a lawful reason...same as the right to object, which is where the data processor must inform the data subject of his rights...theres a lot more rules to public videography etc than people understand.

thats true, you can record/photograph in public all you want "if it is for household or personal use" ...if you put it on the internet (as an example) where it can be seen by an indeterminate number of people you come under UKGDPR 2018 Act and the Digital Privacy Act 2018, if you want to understand the obligations of a Data Processor or Data Controller then the guidelines are found on the Information Commissioners Office website...i hope this helps @@highrider9168

I used to work here until last year! First guy Tony is sound 2nd one who walked past Tom was always a prick! Tony just assumed company personnel policy applied to public with the no photos etc rule as this was enforced on employees. This place packs cat food which is made at the huge nestle sister site further down the road! First time I’ve ever watched an audit video and you seem responsible and respectful so fairplay!

The photographer was slightly incorrect. He mentioned shopping centres being a public right of way. Most shopping centres especially the covered ones are publicly accessible not a public right of way. The owners of the property of publicly accessible can remove the access at any time to any person for any reason which could include photography.

Can you come back to newport south Wales and find out what's going on about the transporter bridge, specifically the river bank that's been closed die to some "bank reinforcement" going on. But on the sly there's a new factory waste gate been built there dumping stuff into the river, and keeping it quiet from the public. It's all closed off and you've already been down the docks there. But it's on the other side of the river that there's something dodgy going on.

If it's publicly accessible ie you need access to get to a certain shop then they can't stop you unless they have signs at the entrances / exits saying no photography. Even the owners can't kick you off unless all shops state they want you removed unless you are causing damage, aggressive, disruptive etc etc. black belt barrister has covered this a while back😊

'Have you got permission to do it?' is such an insane question. At no point in history (well, possibly WW2 in certain areas) have people in England needed permission to take photographs in public. It's just not a thing. If it was then dashcams, security cams and phone cams would not be able to be used except when looking at your own property.
