One thing about RORA is that she always translates the song to korean and really understands the song and what emotion she needs to give and she even watchs the video of the singer to learn. I watched their evaluation videos and knowing RORA does that makes me respect her even more.

You were right, Ahyeon was stressed during her Dangerously era! In Last Evaluation the members had 30 days (almost 1 month) but at the last 2 weeks Ahyeon's song was changed to Dangerously! She had only 2 weeks to pratice! She even said she couldn't sleep at night because she was too worried about the performance! Also Last Evaluation was recorded in 2022 so Ahyeon probably improve and build more confidence! She is on a break now due to her health, she will debut with the others in April so be sure to check it out :D

Rora is indeed a very emotional vocalist. A song with a deep meaning matches its deep voice.

They didnt choose the songs for them, the girls chose their own songs and practiced by themselves, only getting feed back when they went to record in the studio. Haram chose that song cause she felt it would show her individual colors more.

About how she can show the emotions/"vibe" of the song being only 14/15, she said in an episode that she thinks its the most important part of singing, so she watches the original singer's expressions during live performances and tries her best to translate/understand what the song is about

Same, I was so amaze by Rami's vocal techniques, by Ahyeon's powerful voice but Rora's performance is the most beautiful for me. Very natural, emotional, and just overall amazing. She has that voice that is so easy to listen to and just feel so "sakto", not too much and not lacking.

Rora is such a great singer at such a young age. This girl don't speak english but she always manage to capture the emotions in each songs she sing. She works hard on translating english songs to korean to understand the lyrics then studies the facial expressions of the singers to see how they project the emotions of the song. She knows its best to know what the song you are singing is all about than just singing it..very brilliant girl

Chiquita, when she was evaluated, was infected with COVID. She was very good at singing with a voice that sounded like that. And she ended well. Even the judges praised her for making the song feel good. She was only 13 years old.

Ahyeon has a very powerful voice, but I also like her breathiness/husky voice style she used sometimes it adds texture to the song. Point of view of a casual listener and not a voice coach or expert 😅 although you’re right she will improve some more.

This is what I kept saying! YG should utilize Rora’s vocals cause if we are talking about techniques and overall vocal quality this girl is by far one of the best vocalist in kpop industry. I liked haram's performance the best, because she made feel like she'd enbodied the song. Her attitude, the vocal choices, the runs, everything feel into place. Then there's rora's, I don't like how much fry she used in this performance, but overal she has my favorite voice of the group and I think she holds the biggest potential

Asa is the best Rapper and also one of the best Dancer along with ruka, she can write and produce her own song, like in ' Batter up ', i mean she's an ACE, like what if she also trained to be a singer?

Thank you for appreciating Ruka too and understanding that she has a little lisps. It does indeed make her even more charming and that was one of the many factors as to why she made it in the group. Other than her amazing stage presence, rap, and dancing. She has a unique charm/personality that makes people drawn to her. In Day 1 the vocals that draw me in was Rora and Haram.. I just love their lower soulful tones. My 3 biases since day 1 is actually Ruka, Asa, and Haram and they still are my top 3 in Baemon..of course my wreckers are the other 4 girls. They are all uniquely talented and mesh together beautifully as a group.

Ruka is my favourite. She is a natural rapper and has a seductive alluring vocal tone. In these evaluations, which occur each month and for most of the trainees it has been for more than 4 years. Song selection, how it is sung and organised is actually put together by the girls themselves. They get 30 days to train and organise their own selected songs. YG staff and mentors are called on and available to guide the girls for final end of month live stage presentation to YG staff and mentors to comment and.critique. They either get better each month and impress YG or they get cut from final debut.

And she also tends to be the loudest since she still can't control her power. People should realize that they are 14-20yrs old and they have so much room for development. They can't be perfect at this age, technically. But they have improved so much since their auditions and trainings. They are going to be such monsters in Kpop when they reached their 3rd year. I actually think that Ahyeon has most of her air-losing/breathing issues when the notes are to low for her to be comfortable. Maybe she doesn't have the technic yet to support her low tones properly but it would make sense if you remember how low some parts of "Gone" actually were.

I think you'll enjoy seeing them trying to be little vocal coaches as someone experienced! The whole series is also interesting, you can really see how they work - how Rora interprets her songs to get the emotions right, how many times Asa repeats a phrase to get it perfect. Also our Ahyeon 🥺 She was on a break due to health reasons which could explain her stress, but she'll back in April ❤

Chiquita just had Covid before she did this performance maybe she wasn't fully recovered and that can explain why she had trouble projecting her voice. In the last evaluation episode, we can see that she was really worried for this performance and it affected her confidence.
