Thank you for recognizing the rest of the band. He respected his band and seemed to not try to take all the spotlight. Especially with the guitarist Steve Stevens. You’ll notice in this video Billy stood back during Steve’s solo. And hey if he can play like that I would give him the stage too.

Billy Idol is a huge ELVIS fan. He even copied his half snarl which Billy has made his own. Billy is one of the best liked Rock Stars. People all over just love him. He's tough. Played SNL with a broken leg. Stood on his own two feet through the whole song. You could tell in his face he was in a lot of pain but he powered right through it.

Yes it was a blast. People came to the club early and stayed late (well maybe not late if they got some meat). And the clubs were always full. Today (even before this Covid crap) they are always empty. People are sitting home and thay come to the club like an hour before it's closing. 80' were the best imo. And now im old also, which always sucks :D

This song was inspired by a night with Billy Idol drinking Rebel Yell whiskey for the first time with Kieth Richards from The Rolling Stones and the guitarist Steve Stevens was also the guitarist for Michael Jackson and he can be seen in the Dirty Diana video

As far as I know, "Dirty Diana" was his only collaboration with MJ. He worked with Billy Idol throughout his career as guitarist and/or producer as well as doing other projects like movie soundtracks (TOP GUN).

His Real name is William Albert Michael Robe, he is a British and an American citizen. He had a huge Punk Rock band named Generation X in 1977 but then in 1980 he moved to New York from London. His preschool teacher wrote Idle on his reports so he changed his name to Billy Idol and became his band, he invented it basically with his prodigy guitarist Steve Stevens.

In an interview, Billy Idol came up with the last name as "Idol" as an inside joke. He said that if he was going to be a Rock singer, then he better perform to the status of being an "Idol". You can tell that he puts 100% of his energy into the songs that he sings.

When life gets back to normal you two where ever your at see a live show at one of your venues I know its 2020 soon to be 2021 this music is only played classic rock channels before the " Corona Clap" the was a surge of young cover bands playing these venues Im 45 ys old I think its fantastic that there are 20 yr olds rocking to these covers

You guys are 100% right, Billy Idol was indeed probably the most legit rock star. While in Thailand he barricaded himself in a hotel room with 20 Thai women, a bunch of drugs, did over a 100 thousand dollars of damage and Thai police had to bust in and shoot him with a tranquilizer dart to get him out. The stories of him in his hay day are so excessive that you’d think they aren’t but they very much are and the women were throwing themselves at him.

Hi guys could you please do Chris Cornell when he was with Audioslave and the official music video called Cochise. ( pronounced Co-cheese) plus his cover of the Prince song call nothing compares to you. It was done in 2017 before he committed suicide a few months later. It was done at SiriusXM Studios. Additionally at that same session he did the song nearly forgot my broken heart. he also did the song fell on Black Days when he was with his original band called Soundgarden.. it is some of his best work and will bring you to tears in a good way and he pulls on the Heartstrings of the women in the audience and I think Miss Livy might appreciate the depth of his passion and pain. The songs were done in the acoustic fashion with both a mandolin and a cello in the session. I want to express my appreciation for the videos you do they are heartfelt and authentic.
