I know this was put out a couple of years ago. I bought this stand because of this video. Thank you so much. It’s so good. Loving my lap stand. I got the one that slides at the base and is adjustable for larger projects also. I am working in the car. Long trip. Balances so well. And flips over easily. Love it.

Thank you! I know this is an older video but it's so hard to find videos on this stand lol. I was hoping it would work as a table top stand so this answered my question. :)

@@TheBibliophilePuzzler Question for you, when you use it as a table stand, does the Z wood part get in the way of your left hand when stitching? I'm trying to decide between this stand and a stand that holds hoops/frames from the front instead of off to the side, but I'm leaning more towards this stand but unsure if the wood part would be annoying. (Context: my right hand would be feeding the needle from the bottom and my left hand would be feeding from the top). Thank you so much!

Thanks for sharing this, I stitch in bed with an 11x11 Q-snap and I've been wanting some kind of lap stand and wanted to see how this one works. Most people use floor stands but I don't have room for one. This looks like it will work for me too! Love the idea of the magnetic strips!

Hello, thank you so much for coming to my live stream today. It's nice to meet you here again. I don't understand English well, so I don't understand the entire video, but I enjoyed the video. It's a stand that I've used before. I'm also using Q-snap well. Your Q-snap cover is so pretty.

This will work with hoops too! I have two stands from them. If you use Nurge hoops it works great. You can order on Amazon. The long screw is to keep it balanced. If you have any concerns with neck pain, I would not use floor stand because you have to move your neck over. If you sit on a couch with the lap stand on top of your lap and lean back with a pillow for your back that will help you stitch longer. Put your legs on top of an ottoman.

Thank you for all of these suggestions. I was also messaging with somebody on Instagram and it seems that since I can use this in bed, in my recliner or couch or at my desk or table that I might just stay with this one stand or just buy a second one. Thanks again.

@@TheBibliophilePuzzler , You also can travel with this one and stitch in the car tooI bought two because I was afraid one day the maker will retire and stop making it. Have good day!
