The young guy matching the scales with his throat singing is another legendary singer that you are aware of … Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He is the Ustaad’s nephew and trained under him for decades and now an Ustaad (Master) in his own right

Nusrat was just on another lever, truly unmatched, he is known as the King of Kings for Qawali music...Jeff Buckley even sung his songs in Urdu he was one of his biggest fan and Peter Gabriel called Nusrat along with Otis Redding to have most soulful voices. If only you could understood the poetry/lyrics with his vocals that is what got Billions in South Asia hooked and still does 25 years after his death. Maybe weird, but as a Punjabi/Indian metalhead, who grew up listening to Nusrat, and became a headbanger in my teens, this always seemed natural. I'd always imagined that had I had any musical talent myself, this is the kind of sound I'd make.

You say everything I feel watching Andre's mashups with Pakistani, Indian and Tibetan music. Andre always makes me smile. Check out his mashups with the Noor sisters. I think the mash ups work because both music styles are filled with so much passion.

We have watch all his video... And Andre did a wonderful job., we loved it.. He did quite a research before making like he didn't mess up the lyrics etc and Metal and Grand Master Nusrat fateh ali khan epic vocals blends so well👌

Well, metal can be mixed with any type of music in fact. I am from Bolivia, and we have metal bands that mix andean music with metal, giving it a unique sound. And that applies to the rest of the world as well. There are no limits with metal music, anywhere in the world you go you will see a local scene that keeps metal alive with thier unique touch. Of course, this is just a mashup, not the original. I don't think it's a good idea to consider it a song "worthy" of a reaction to it. Original songs (or their covers) are much more interesting than mashups.

If I evaluate this particular work, I do not evaluate either the original music used to create it or the musical talent of the performer who adapted the piece for his own needs. It turned out to be a complete pastiche of both. People, learn to understand what someone might mean when writing a comment.
