I worked at an animal shelter (ACC) in nyc and …I only lasted a few weeks. Just knowing they had a legit death row section for dogs, who were mainly Pitbulls (I’m a Pitbull mom) I just couldn’t do it anymore. Especially when people literally would come in to give up their pet. The confusion and heart break and panic that they showed …I couldn’t do it anymore. It was too much 💔

This movie was epic imo! Dwayne Johnson's performance as Krypto was absolutely phenomenal! i was happy to see that they gave the pets of certain DC superheroes their own movie because they honestly haven't gotten much attention since the series "Krypto The Super Dog."

The best line in this movie HANDS DOWN, has to be when Superman said, “yeah about that… he’s not greatest with other animals…?” And then Batman was like, “Well he better get it together soon… or those ferrets are gonna take over the world…” LOL!! 😂😂😭🤣

I recently watched this movie and honestly, it was enjoyable to watch. The design of the animal characters made me think of some of the ones from the Disney films, specifically with Krypto.

I watched this movie in the cinema with my best friend and we absolutely loved it even though we aren't DC fans! My best friend also said he would love a sequel that focuses on Ace and Batman, I to be honest would like to see that as well! Loved the reaction Cody!

I have never seen a single "Superman" movie before in my life. I know the origin story, but I've never actually watched any of the movies, so Cody, you're not the only one. And it was only after watching "Megamind" that I learned that it was parodying "Superman." On a side note, this is Dwayne Johnson's third animated role, the others being the astronaut dude in "Planet 51" and of course, Maui.

My main gripe is that they never used Dex-Starr as the big bad. He would've been the perfect evil counterpart to Krypto.

Well Dwayne Johnson confirmed that the movie is the first in a new franchise which means we’ll probably get a sequel to this movie and maybe they can use Dex-Starr in the sequel

At 18:15, 18:17, 18:19, 18:20, 18:24, 18:32, 18:34, 18:35, 18:36 and 18:37 Kevin Hart is the voice actor. The dog you're referring to his name is Ace. He's a boxer and Kevin Hart is plays Ace aka The Bathound in the movie, who is the actor for Ace.

There were a lot of things pulled from the comics. DC movies haven't been so great over the last few years. Most of their good content resides in their shows

Love that your watching DC 👍 Also, your question of what went wrong with Krypton, (I don’t know if this is canon for all Superman stories) but it drifted to close to the red sun it orbits. Red sunlight is as bad for Kryptonians as green kryptonite, and Earth has yellow sunlight which does the complete opposite.

Superman is the sole survivor of the planet Krypton. Well that's how it started. Comics and other media later added a super girl, general zod and Kypto so it gets a little confusing. There is basically multiple universes with different canon. Quite a few superheros have had their origin retold more than once. Superman got his powers when his pod landed on earth. All kryptonians get those powers when on earth.

33:14 Those aren't the pets that the DC superheroes have in the comics..well four are correct and three are wrong let's start with Aquaman | Aquaman in the comics has a seahorse | cyborg in another universe called tiny Titans has pet robots called M.A.X and F.E.L.I.X | now wonder woman in the comics has a kangaroo called jumpa | (those are the ones they got wrong. intentional?) | Now here are the ones they got right | krypto the super dog for Superman | Ace the bat hound for Batman | Merton the turtle for the flash | chip the squirrel for Green lantern AKA Jessica cruz (I tried to look up if Chip was a pet of Jessica in the old comics but nothing came up so)
