I'M BACK! Fixing my Range Rover L322 (You Won't Believe What This Cost)

FINALLY!! I am BACK! It was a hard few weeks without my beloved L322 but I am so pleased to say that the air suspension fault has now been repaired and we can drive the Range Rover again!
Having air suspension on my L322 is a great feature but it does mean it is something else that can go wrong or have problems. I managed to fix the issue for only £80 though which is pretty great and I explain exactly how in this video.
Make sure you watch until the end for some very satisfying carwash shots!

Great to see you back in the RR. Glad you had some good warranty cover to ease the cost of repair. Hopefully we won't here of any future problems with the car, they are amazing vehicles and I can't wait for mine to be back on the road.

Hello from Leee-ill France yes we name our cars or vans. my van was name Louise. i'm an American photographer in France who owns a 97 P38 range rover. talk about issues, you don't know the half of it. i've had no heater for two years but i love her. my P38 is named Aelswith... i'm a history buff. i'm enjoying the content your respective channels. all the best with your baby, and it was nice seeing your images of Lille. cheers

good news Lucy! :)I have just had the latest updates for the gearbox and powertrain updated on my L322 and wow incredible change, so much smoother and responsive. Best £90 i have ever sent on a car! recommend your local specialist doing the same if you have not had it done already! also cleaned my Map senor and got an extra 2-3 MPG, happy days :)

Hi glad you are back on road, I just bought my new to me L322 v8 supercharged yesterday very happy with it so far. This is my 3rd L322 and the previous 2 were hot and swing a diesel it’s no good in London anymore hence the V8. I have named mine Black Panther because it shares the same engine with the Jag and it’s all black as well. But yess I do name my cars as well.

My L322 had the same problem while I was in SW France. LR main dealer quoted €3000 and 3 week wait for parts because of Easter. Ordered part from UK for same sort of price you paid, it arrive 2 days later on Easter Saturday and took an hour or so to change. Result!

We’re a week into ownership of our 1st ever RR - a mint ‘12 Orkney grey Autobiography and we are really struggling to name it. 😂 So far we have “Oobie” - her current reg ends in OOB; “Britannia” - as in Royal Yacht & “Lady Grace” - a Brit adventurer from 1895.

My Fatty is called "Rupert" I am the second owner and it was a carry over from his first owner. The name just seems right hahahahaha Rupert lives in Western Australia with me and so far this year has cost a small fortune, but I just don't care, he's awesome :) Am currently hunting around for a 5 litre Supercharged as well but they are quite rare in Aus. Btw, Rupert is a 4.4L V8 M62 Petrol with a performance upgrade to 280KW, lot's of fun to drive and wipes the smiles off the faces of the rather smug Landcruiser drivers over here.

I recommend taking the side steps off . I hated the prospects until one of mine fell off and I couldn't get the bolts off to replace it, when I took the grinder to it it looked 100% better

Would definitely recommend taking the a proper detailer and valet because those leather seats will come up gorgeous and every nuck and cranny will be clean. Also those leather seats are sliding because of the greasy cleaners. If cleaned properly they become a nice matt leather

Car names . We always name ours! We’ve had Kimi the Kia & Goldie the gold Mercedes. Currently we have Oolong the Audi (it’s colour is Oolong) and Coco the Mercedes (fetching brown colour)

I couldn't afford a Range Rover, I have a 2006/7 Discovery 3, it hasn't been without fault, not having somewhere to do my own repairs, any major problems, it's had to go to a local garage, it hasn't been cheap, but it's such a good vehicle, although, due to the cost of fuel, I don't use it as my everyday car, I miss it when I don't have it, I've owned various different Land Rovers, Range Rovers since the 1990's, they all have their issues, but there's just something about them, I'll need have any money as long as I own a Land Rover

Its rubbish the stats on reliability, I have had them for 30 years and maintained lots of my Land Rovers myself but having some good diagnostics gear is a must as it helps massively. I have the same colour in a 2012 L322 5.0 SC and a 2002 L322 4.4 V8 about to start cleaning up as a dog car.

The problem with those car wash places is they damage your bodywork. The processes they go through are the wrong way around. Eg they just swirled around any residual grit after the initial jet. That initial jet does not remove all road grime and grit. If you want to look after your paintwork - you can learn how to wash a car safely. Lots of content on KZfaq ~ naturelly. At heart Im a libertarian and believe people should be able to do what makes them happy but the question arises what should be done about folks who continue to create unnecessary pollution. Unfortunately in the face of such intransigence it will be down to government to act
