I think you will find that if you lower the rear torsion bar suspension properly then it will actually be stiffer even though that doesn't make sense but I know this from experience with Peugeot 106s and 306s

@@ChrisTheCarBuilder yeah, I mean, logically, they are the same diameter so shouldn't be any stiffer but they appeared to be stiffer after lowering from my experience. My tip is lots of WD40 for weeks before the job and do it properly where you drive them out of both sides so you have full adjustability and not the 'notches' method where you drive the trailing arm off with the torsion bar still attached, this method ruins the bearings and you can't get both sides equal
