Syclone vs. Ram air. I would say the ram air intake that is currently on Chris's truck, will have greater airflow during most driving conditions and possibly better MPG. Where the Syclone Prefilter shines is when it is used in heavily dusty areas. The raised ram air does help, but the prefilter will prevent more particles from reaching the engine's air filter. In that case, the prefilter would give you better MPG's in a heavy dust environment. On car washes, I try to only go to touchless car washes and I haven't had any issues with some water getting into the intake. If you remember we talked about it with the red diesel Bison that the water will get forced out of the weep hole in the back of the ram intake while driving.

Call me a fan boy: I have installed the winch (thank you for the video!!!), next install is the onboard air (589 mount, dual compressor) following exactly what you did. I went with the full V2 GFC. But, you two save me a lot of time (if not money!) Thanks, keep up the great work. I can't wait to see more. [2022 Bison, baby-D]

Great recap. I enjoy the Colorado Bison content since I have a 2018 Z71 with the AEV Bison front bumper, Comeup winch, onboard air, etc. Keep up making good videos!

Can’t wait to see the truck with gears! I’m on a AEV bison with lift and 35s but no gears and the mpg is pretty sad! Also Belgrade is not middle Montana! Got a lot of state left guys!

Looks great. Why 4.10s instead of 4.56? Read a good amount of discussion between the different ratios and diesel vs gas if you have any insight.

Actually between this video and now (this was filmed a few weeks ago) I've changed my mind and am going to run 4.56 gears. The shop that makes and will be installing them heavily recommended 4.56 for my setup and useage. I don't know a ton about gearing to be honest, so I'm trusting them on this.

AEV likes to put 4.10 gears in vehicles and Nitro recommends 4.56 gears. Either choice is way better than the stock gears.

Was wondering why we hadn’t seen 33” tires yet, now we know. Regearing looks like a bear of a DIY project, good luck. Can’t wait to see how it goes.

Yep, the Duratracs were a capable enough tire that I didn't see the need to take em off until I wore them out. Now was the perfect time. As for the regearing... Weeeeelllll we're leaving that to the pros. 😂. But you bet your sweet bippy were filming it!

How was the wind noise after you put the racks on the truck? I have a 4Runner and wanted to put an actually usable rack to the top, but I've heard it increases the wind noise. Any suggestions?

Not too bad. There is a little bit of noise, but I have traction boards and a shovel on it as well.

In my experience, overlanding since my parents bought me a new FJ Cruiser when I was 16 lol, a build is never truly "done". Even now with my 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road, there is always something new released that I want to add to it, change, tweak etc etc. The only way I will ever be "done" lol is if I run out of money, but thanks to my very successful parents, that is basically never going to happen 😂
