This and the finale actually made me break down so bad 😭 my mom is on season 4 episode 5, I can't for her to get to this point 😭 I'm not watching it with her because she said she likes watching it alone 😭😭

The same thing happened to me, I invited my brother to watch the series together but he never got past the first episode (he had a certain homophobia at that time). For a while it was painful to watch the series alone, but after a while watching it alone gave me the freedom to feel the emotions without any inhibition and that is why the ending has undoubtedly touched me deeply. I love your reactions, I'm looking forward to the latest videos! 🤍

My childhood best friend was an organ donor. When she died 3 years ago, 5 people got the gift of life because of her donation, including a 12 year old girl who got her heart. She was an eldest sister herself, and I know for a fact she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. It’s one of the most beautiful final acts of kindness a person can do and I encourage everyone to list themselves as an organ donor. You never know who it could help.

If it makes you feel any better I'm sure most of us (including myself) were crying along with you while watching this. Whenever I come to the end of this show I always watch this ep and the finale together, and it's really just two hours straight of crying. This show is such a masterpiece.

Quiche is a savory egg tart. It is really common in the U.S. to bring pies and casseroles to the house of a family who has lost someone, so they don’t have to cook. It is more probably common in church communities hence Brenda’s snide remark.

Kurt Cobain was the lead-singer and main songwriter of the band Nirvana. He killed himself in 1994, at the age of 27. There's a minor historic discrepancy, though, when Nate says 'Kurt Cobain died today', as Kurt's body wasn't found until about 3 days after he'd killed himself. The song Nate is listening to is called 'All apologies', from their third, and last, album. It contains the words 'In the sun, I feel as one. Married. Buried.' (It also contains the words 'Everyone is gay', but I guess that is beside the point here...)

OK, I couldn't leave for work until after I dropped a comment. This episode is so hard to re-watch. Seeing the family's grief is heart-breaking. Everyone's reaction to Nate's death is so real. I really can't single anyone out in this episode, because each and every actor does an impeccable job of portraying exactly how their character would react in such a situation. I cried throughout this entire episode, and like you, I ran out of tears at some point. But when Brenda left Maya with Ruth and then Broke down when Billy showed up, I found a hidden reservoir. Claire's memory of Nate (which she finally remembered a good time with him, not the bad) was when Kurt Cobain of Nirvana killed himself (allegedly), and was the first moment she really connected with him. George and Rico's speeches just say everything, really. Re-watching this episode ripped open the wounds that had already healed, but in the best possible way. I'd give you a hug if I could. The next two are beautiful. We're still in the healing process, but the end is glorious. Much love Mado.

This was definitely a hard episode to watch. It was very emotional. Your reaction was very sincere and it moved me. It sounds like you’ve already seen the Series Finale. Now you know why this series has a special place in the hearts of many.

Six feet under was a clever show that told us all about life through death. Of course that is the premise of why we are here. Youth is wasted on the young. Life is wasted on the alive. Live, learn die. What a cruel twist of timing!

I haven't rewatched this episode since it first aired 18 years ago. Brilliant writing and performances as always, but yeah, not an easy episode to watch.
