It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

If Tomlinson's inability to go after the ball is truly an issue, you can always make the coaching adjustment in-game to make them attack the ball.

I still think we need a little chart or graphic to show the players we lost in the offseason and the players we gained. Would be cool to see if we end up with a better safety than the previous year or if our edge rushers are worse because of our moves

It's wild. I've been saying for years that the INT sliders need to be lower. I think he's average 20+ INTs a season the last 3 Maddens.

@@TryingToBeLikeJesus I think he obviously throws way too many int’s. But also it seems he doesn’t try to “cheese” the game. Once you play madden enough you can kind of win every game if you want using certain plays over and over. He doesn’t abuse the game. But seriously watching him play sometimes is very frustrating

Realistically a team would 100% trade a pick for David Mayweather.. starting caliber QB who wouldn’t be expensive and has no prospects with the Saints

Defense definitely looks better, but Cane, dude, you gotta clean up the turnovers. Take the easy throw if nothing else is there. Don't be afraid to play small-ball, or even run your QB if nobody is open. Even a couple of positive yards is better than a sack or a turnover. You need learn to make the safe play and live to fight another down.

That secondary defense has indeed improved a ton. Honestly while he has his flaws, I think Mayweather looked better here compared to Westbrook. Looking forward to this season.

i think the team looks good. westbrook is going to have to buckle down and really learn how to become a team leader. i do like the playmaking ability on tyhe offensive side and the additions on the defensive side im liking alot especially the d line and its run stopping ability. very good work and im looking forward to seeing how it plays out

Hey Cane, please run 4-2-5 double mug A gaps mid blitz on third and long situations. You probably saw the Vikings run this play a lot back w Mike Zimmerman and this gets a six man front on key passing downs, if you send six on this mid blitz and the O only protects w five, you have Montez Sweat free off the edge w his crazy speed. Great play to run

Trade mayweather for a 2nd or 3rd round and focus this draft a little more heavily for lineman for starters and solid back ups. I think the defense has the verteran pressance I think the line would need more focus. Love the work, Cane! Keep it up💯👌

I definitely think you need to start James Houston over Juan beard. Not from the perspective of being a beard hater or anything, just that if you're trying to win you need to play your best players. Moving James Houston from the only guy to being the second guy for the pass rush will be huge for his production, I expect, and it would be much better to have him out there facing the one-on-ones than Beard, who needs unblocked pressures and cleanups to get his production.

Eh, is he the guy? To me, even in this video, he doesn't play like a franchise qb, he still makes extremely errant throws. I think Mayweather would be a Fitzpatrick level qb, not a bad qb but not a franchise qb. That being said, I think a trade wouldn't be a bad idea. Cane the defense did not look “good” against the texans… it looked decent for the first couple drives.. they ended up putting up 38 points… no defense played good when they had 38 put up on them. Take away the pick six its still 31

you should make some small changes and incorporate a mini storyline with some of them. for example: -Tommy Tomlinson is sick of dropping interceptions so he changes gloves. (Change his gloves, give him +1 catch and spec catch) -Blake Westbrook has been working with a QB coach in the offseason to help his mechanics and also to throw less picks. (Change his throwing motion, give him +1 awareness and maybe a glove on one hand to "help with control") just some fun ideas to help add an extra layer to storytelling and change some gear up too. 🙏🏿
