It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

when we drafted blake westbrook i thought we were getting justin herbert, but after watching him scramble well and struggle throwing, I think we got daniel jones

Even though they gave up almost 400 passing yards, the defense made plays at crucial times which held the Texans to 13 pts. This looks like a promising season for the Saints if the offense can productive.

The 3rd down playcalling was rough. Running way too many curl and hook routes and not utilizing the route running and speed of the receivers to get open.

I think Blake Westbrook benefits from more downfield passes like crossers, posts and corner routes. David Mayweather fits the system better and can compliment the run game well with his quick game passing.

When you user Vita Vea or other DTs, dont try to do a bunch of pass rush moves at the snap. Keep them in the middle to clog the running lanes and shrink the pocket.

Poetic ending after a scorcher of a game from Tommy! I have some reeeal doubts about Westbrook still, but the team had some life to it finally. This feels like a 10 or 11 win team, but can you win a Super Bowl with Westbrook where he is now? Tough to say. Please tell me John Waters is the next coming of The Closer himself, Barry Nsekhe. I've been a Waters truther for years now!

With big run stuffing DTs like Vea and Richards it frees up your athletic LBs to make plays Note-I get Adebo is the entrenched starter outside opposite of Tomlinson with Binns in the slot, but Alex Sharpe is wayyyy too good to be just a dime corner, think he could and should rotate with Adebo

Paying 40 million a year for wideouts we dont really use could be an issue. Cant wait to see Cane figure it out, and give it the antidote. Thats why we love the series.

Idk if the sliders have changed but that game looked more realistic defensively. There's talent there and it's nice to see it reflected in the game play. Also Tomlinson is a beast, if his ball skills were a little better he would've had like 3 picks minimum lol

strong week 1 win on the road. westbrook def couldve played better but the defense stole the show with a strong performance. westbrook will need to play better in week 2. i thought the linebacking core played extremely well and didnt allow the texans run game to really reach the second level of the defense much and they controlled the play on the line of scrimmage. they were fast and able to wrap up or atleast hold up ball carriers until the tackle could be made. it forced alot of uncomfortable 3 and longs and eventually the pass rush was able to get to stroud or force him into awkward throws throughout the game. tomlinsons injury is a tough one going into week 2 but hopefully no more injuries during the week. team looks good going forward. would like to see more out of blackwell but westbrooks cant be missing those open throws to him. rachad white looks every bit ready to rumble with ball. let him loose

No Juan Beard and the pass rush looked great. That’s all I have to say about that. Also need to see cane improve his timing on curls and slants. Throwing those drags/slants/outs late is causing a lot of the accuracy issues. For whatever reason madden doesn’t respond well to throws happening late into routes it makes the receivers brain dead and “perfect accuracy” passes go behind the route.

Very good job putting together strong defense. I think the office does need some work. I’m just from my perspective like you said with the office look up what the defense give you so I guess going against the Washington commanders look up what the Washington commanders defense give you so like the defense sets like a 3443 and make a place from that position that you should be fine.

Hey Cane, to really utilize your dynamic receivers you should look to use more crossing patterns and flag routes downfield. If you want to keep receivers underneath have them run shallow drags and if you need to keep Blackwell running something short or a RB running a bubble for something safe if you don't have time to throw.

Honestly, I don’t think Westbrooks misses have all been on him, I think there’s a lot of poor timing. For instance, there was an out route that was blamed on Westbrook but when he started throwing, the receiver was bumped which made the throw look worse than it really was.
