Fasting during these holidays isn't just about abstaining from food; it's a conscious choice toward a healthier lifestyle.

Hello Jerome. I followed you for years. You have been such a motivation,I too lost lots of weight and put it back on again. When I saw you on Instagram and you announced you were starting the rolling fast, that was the kick in the butt I needed. I started two weeks after you and I've been consistent the weight is falling off! My family is having a dinner Christmas Eve I attended to be with my family and I too chose not to eat and did not feel bad about it because I have a goal and I am loving the way I'm looking right now. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you! You are changing lives.

This is my plan guys… I normally fast and I’m used to it but consistency is what I lack. Therefore, I’m cleaning up first, this week I’m having black coffee, salad for lunch and protein with veggies for dinner for this week, starting today.

Very well said and so true!

@@immnotaboutthatlife2086 I tell you. He inspired and taught me how to fast like 2 years ago when he first started fasting. He taught me about rolling fasts which was very effective rather than elongated fasts. My sweet spot was Rolling 72s. I was so happy when he started uploading like 2 months ago. I'm back to fasting once these holidays are over.

Merry Christmas, Jerome, to you and your family ❤. I love watching your videos. You have such a big heart and beautiful smile 😊. You tell it like it is, even when it must be hard to say. I've been fasting with some success, having lost 1 stone (14lbs). December has been really difficult due to work trips abroad, and many business dinners, and breakfast - the last thing I wanted! I'm starting again on 30th Dec (another work trip 27th-29th). Thank you for continually inspiring us. I really appreciate you, and I think, reading what other people say in the comments shows what a wonderful community you have brought together. Here's to 2024 XxX

It's all about hormones (insulin) and not about calories as we have been programmed to think. Our bodies are intelligently designed. We are not machines (calories in calories out does NOT make any sense). I still lose weight when I break a fast with fat like avocado, butter, or cream cheese.

I’ve worked really hard this year to time my fasting protocol with my holiday plans. This allows me to keep my fasting on track and still participate in my family Christmas dinner. The bigger challenge for me during the holidays is not “to eat or not to eat,” but making sure I don’t eat in excess the things that cause me issues like inflammation (pasta! Grains, grains, grains, pastry/bakery sweets) and not eating too much. What is the amount of pasta or grains I can eat where it doesn’t trigger mega cravings and inflammation? About 3-4oz per a refeed during rolling fast 🥲 it’s fine though 😂😂😂 I usually just avoid rice, potatoes, bread, and pasta, but it’s harder during holidays because those are the traditional dishes and I don’t always control the menu.

Since you usually complete more than 90 hours per fast, do you ever run into the situation where you’re fast is scheduled to end late at night? What do you usually do? Go to bed and break the next morning?
@AzaleaBee7 ай бұрын
I rarely break an extended fast in the early evening or even late afternoon. I have never ended a fast late at night. But would if I recognized something was wrong. The only reasons, I've broken a fast past 6 pm: 1) my blood sugar was just too low (low 40's or 30's mg/dL) ..2) I did not feel well and recognized it was better to stop ... 3) to join a celebratory/special break-fast the next morning 4) when learning to fast and practicing various OMAD schedules

Have you ever considered a 30 day fast? Do you think you'd ever attempt it?
@FinallyFasting8 ай бұрын
No desire. My 90+ hour fasts consistently make me lose weight.
@Lluiana8 ай бұрын
There’s no reason to do such a long fast for weight loss. I personally have done a 21 day water fast but it was spiritual.
