This works on paper lunch bags too. I used to make sample bags when I was trying to sell Avon a long time ago. I'd print my contact info on the bags.

What a fantastic idea! I make jewelry to sell, and have been gluing my card to the front of the little paper bag -- if I can print directly on the bag it would look so much better!

They also make a hand held printer that you roll over any surface to print on it.

It's nice that at 54 I'm still learning something every day. I've only been crafting fo 2 years( because my high school art teacher told me I was useless at art and never got the opportunity to use a different artistic medium), so I'm gladly learning any new techniques that are in my scope of capability.

The bags look professionally printed. That’s a very nice way to present a gift to someone. And it’s even more special when the recipients learns you created and printed the design in the bags. Thumbs up, 👍 Sherry.

If you look in the printer’s maintenance area there is a thick paper setting that will possibly prevent the stray ink. Just click the box. It works for me.

Even giving the ink ten or fifteen seconds to dry before moving it can prevent most smearing.

I use the Epson Ecotank, also, because the ink is so inexpensive and lasts so long. I love it! Thank you so much for this idea. I make junk journals and this idea has my mind spinning with all the things I can use it for in my journals! ❤

It can also print on fabric! Use a spray adhesive to adhere the fabric to card stock.

Putting more porous paper through without an image to print would probably help to clear ink that wasn't absorbed on a previous run.

@@ThePoshPaperLady I had to go back and watch and go forward in small increments. I swear it looked like dark maroon or chocolate brown - I felt like it was the Facebook dress where everyone saw a different color. Ha ha Too funny because I figured blue nails is your signature color.
