Also, a different perspective on the mind: It's not that the mind (or ego) is enemies to combat - the mind means well. It's primary function is to help us survive, including through critical thinking. But unwittingly, it can create misperceptions and drama for us along the way. First, practice noticing the negative thoughts (meditation and CBT therapy work great). When you catch neg thoughts crossing your mind, practice saying something to yourself like, "My mind means well", and have compassion for yourself & your mind, too. Sorry this is so long, but 1 other thing has helped me too: Daily gratitude practice. Twice per day I state 5 things I'm grateful for, no matter my mood. It helps prime my mind to habitually think more positively. I truly hope this helps one or more of you. Much love.

What also helps is the teachings on what are the underlying structures of identity embodiements or vehicles that create the Mind. In fact now that i propose this concept to those that read it you're now capable to ask...What creates Mind structure? In knowing more about this then we can see that the Ego is in fact EGO which stands for Epigenetic Overlay. Imagine a sphere with layers and there are some elemental coding layers/patterns that overlay onto them and because of that, programs influence the other structures of your embodiment. So yes there is something "wrong" that humans sense. It's not just a fabrication that is more mind games and you can disregard it. That is partially true. What is important is to also take it seriously. WHY am I aware of this thought pattern? Where does it emerge from? HOW does it emerge and have this effect to influence my actions and more? Now when was the last time you were seeing some satsang or reading some teachings and you saw those kinds of questions addressed or asked? HMMMMMMMM? What are they not valid or important on the path of awakening? lol That's the big secret. The mind in a sense has been hacked. So yea compassion is a great place to start. There is huge confusion in many of the teachings out there because of not understanding the spiritual mechanics of which I Speak. They were however full covered in the original mahabarata texts which last translated was around 150,000 volumes. And that was just the relative tier of knowledge needed for certain levels of domains we create in through bodies. There are even higher knowledge packets that can be translated for utilization in other forms and domains. www.arhayas.com

Yes that is true it provides a way to access more peace and love by tuning through the noise or static, however for those on a fuller spectrum awakening path no stone goes unturned and all details count in measure. So in the video the one asking the question hears his mind propose the idea that something is wrong. The deeper healing and awakening dive is started by the question, Why does the mind create these "negative" thoughts. What is the difference between a negative thought and one that is for better words more loving. Where do they come from? Why? How does this come to influence me..through what layers does it bubble up? Before thoughts reach your more conscious superficial levels of attention or awareness it already is moving through a lot of other structures not just the structure of what some call the Mind. Mooji and other teachings of a similar truth, intention, path, are actually the starting point and basics and most important to engage and embody. I'm sharing this post to propose to some that there is much more on the awakening path possible to dive into.

that's why it's important to find silence and rest for awhile everyday. just hearing an explanation isn't enough. settling down the mind in peace and wellbeing transcends the problem.

Love the guy for his honest heartfelt question! I bet everyone of us watching this had this question in them! And love mooji for giving an honest clear answer rather than just quote some stotras and speak from authority of rishis or simply play with words with the sole intent of convincing the mind like most people do ! Thank you mooji.. and thank you for the question, whoever you are! May you find peace! Namah shivaya!

Mooji is awesome! He says this same thing over and over again in different ways and people still come up with questions. I think people have heard so much vague instructions from other teachers that they are not absorbing this most direct and very practical guidance. Too much airy fairy expectations, and the mind is like "Is that all? Where are the fireworks?" Mooji's teaching is nothing short of a miracle.

Great teaching, thank you very much both of you, Mooji and questioner. I've come to learn the inner saboteur better, I'm growing more in observing it and it doesn't like this at all. The tricks are endless, using deep imprints that took root in me with my own consent. Mostly in a survival mode and an attempt to figure out how life works for me and find peace. It's beautiful to see the questioner present in a genuine way, in a serious attempt to work his issue through with Mooji. He made it possible that Mooji touched an existential trauma in us humans, in me.

Of course, Celine Halpin, what you observe is the body language, as a response to feeling there's something wrong. Our feelings, birthed by a mind that tells us something is wrong, create all kinds of physical sensations, it's a drain of energy. All disease on a physical level stems from the spiritual level in a person. When the warning signs are ignored, the body can't help but show up with pain and suffering. A last attempt to wake the person up. Spirit comes first, matter follows

The cells have their own memory, but unless you "fix" your mind you will keep recreating the same problems. Once there's clarity in your mind, the body will heal by means of conscious movement practises. (I prefer dance, but there are many different paths to free the cellular memory and the traumas stored in the body.) Without awareness body work can only help so much.
@spleenog5 жыл бұрын
@@waltermessines5181 That is true. I had healed my mind, but patterns kept repeating because of the stored trauma. It took several rebirthing breathwork sessions before I became aware of how much was stored in my body out of conscious awareness. All I knew was something was not right.

And they also are. You can't have one without the other. It's both and neither. All perspectives and all states associated with these positions all have basis in realities and have cause and effect. Yes, there's a parasitic eye strap or vine in the body which is governed by morphologies/or the mind to a pseudo prescript and bilateral amelioration of energy (Yin & Yang) - It is the cause of congenital problems and fated tragedy. It can contract in the body and fill the head with enemies which don't exist - It is basically a trauma bond dependency of concomitance and flight or flight thinking/reaction. And it’s never came - He who was till then - The pins are hidden by the shadow of this plastic due to height of the connector. The ego = (God appearing to be something it’s not) -IE: We might be battling the unknown if they don’t - Once you know Father Christmas isn’t real, you can never get back to believing he’s real again ??? Not knowing what had happened would have been intolerable - I’m finding that there’s something else going on, nothing to do with reading a book ??? - It’s strange, it’s like it’s not in the words but maybe it wouldn’t be happening without the words ??? - It’s definitely not in the ideas and yet maybe it wouldn’t be happening without the ideas, maybe it would be, people go on silent retreats !!! And that’s the system itself - The things/objects are over (Cloak) emphasised and the awareness is under-played - (Thus awareness is not being conscious, it’s what we’re conscious of - To tell you your trapped by inferring that there is a you which could be free to think there’s a better way - But there’s an ideation of an image called selfing - The mental state points to the after as being the before - (Language emphasis there is an us and uses the subjective experience to make an object of ideation IE: Your the all that’s been thinking about) But there isn’t a self doing the selfing that implies there’s a self doing it - There’s a mechanical system doing: Thus is reinforcing the nouning that your not - Not. ‘Knot’ Mamma has died in the night - Looking from the bondage of self (As self) - Contracted energy or pseudo eye strap from chest to head over cloaked by a superimposed phantom which orchestrates the Trinity which actuates the body. It may have a real importance to being wrong because it will be right about how wrong it believes you are, so your wondering why your messing things up because then it can be right about how wrong you are. It happens to me the same but is not my mind telling me nothing it's a sense of depression, beyond all the thought, is like I've already know that state of enjoyment, that was when I'm a child. But now I'm in stillness, and yet there's this sense I am perceiving that I know is not Me, I'm just picking it, perceiving it, but I can't get out of this deflating emptiness, that is not the self.And it cost me to wake up in the morning, there's no the enjoyment to be alive, is that I just don't care about anything, because I wake up and I feel no joy, even though it's silence, but just like tiredness to live not joy, I wish to can keep going until I can ignore this.

I know your pain.... If you are not enjoying life...who cares and it's not always enjoyable anyways. You are carrying lot of things at the same time like people, ideologies etc. of this world. You are on planet earth remember this very carefully and anything can go wrong here not to you but to your most closest ones too....don't be emotional...learn from others experiences too...everyday millions of people die...and u r alive and kicking. You are so advance thinker and great personality I have ever come across that nobody can understand because you are fed up with the system of this world physically or what not. I must tell you one thing very clearly you are on absolutely right track. One day you will be fucking so happy I know it. One more thing keep a faith on both sides God as well as the Earth and it's laws. If concept of God makes you not good then switch thinking and experience of earth only and live it here in your own ways...this way whatever is right as per science or spirituality will win and ultimately fill you up. Live in this world by your will the will that presented to you which is in front of you. but don't die too easily cos nobody cares for you except you yourself. Keep balance of spirituality and science (proof and reason) you are good to go....still you feel out of moves then do only one thing just make your self a better version of your self sitting or standing or walking shitting 😃. One day my dear friend one day mark my words all will be wonderful and bright even without or with moves....but don't die. Also keep focus on one thing...have your meals (to stay this body alive) and you know what you don't have to do any thing afterwards....just be balanced between spirituality and science. You will be Good! And also don't forget to wink in bad times...I shared few of my spiritual master words. You can mail me at donsharma2018@gmail.com. I was also out of moves but you see how much I have written😂😂😂. let's be friends.

Lord of the rings part 2, minute 57:25-58:40, that's the mind vs the light. My experience The quieter it gets inside me it starts to cramp and itch in the body. I feel that it is more comfortable to give up instead of continuing to have the consciousness of silence, because it cramps and the muscles contract so that it becomes like cramps. The more awareness, the more grace is shown in the form of expansion of light, the more the body relaxes and full focus becomes on silence. Brain returns but it is distant now, I hear it but it passes like an airplane passes through the sky, it is hardly considered, just a finding that it exists but it is a lie revealed. The brain is the definition of madness for it thinks it is I. I AM is EVERYTHING and the content is under grace, a gratitude arises, but the brain shows pride, selfishness, the ego is big there. The light shows the opposite, Holy Spirit shows that I am loves you already, you are nothing and yet I am everything within you, therefore you are EVERYTHING from the Creator.

I love Mooji but he seems to think he can fix everyone. This feeling of something not being right is a symptom of being traumatised. It cannot be simply explained away by it being a feeling of emptiness. I am not surprised to hear that people leave his satsang and go to hospital because they feel they are dying. This is another symptom of unresolved trauma. They have listened to Mooji for a few weeks and the symptoms just become magnified. This also true of people who have unresolved trauma attempting to meditate feeling that death is imminent. If any of this rings true for you I would suggest you read “ the body keeps the score “ by Bessel Van De Kolk. You SHOUlD all be smiling and Happy.... why should they? Seems like a case of wanting the present moment to be another way to me. I know Mooji isn’t perfect ....but this jus5 seems a fundamental blind spot to me.

Mooji did acknowledge that maybe something is wrong, but for many people, there isn't. It's just how the mind works, not as an evil entity, but just how its naturally evolved, and unfortunately, when combined with the right/wrong circumstances, makes people miserable. I know many people deal with trauma, but we can also be quick to attribute negativel feelings with trauma, when there is none. Even the way you say it "This feeling of something not being right is a symptom of being traumatised." This may certainly be the case for some people, but your statement sounds like a blanket statement. Maybe you didn't really mean it like that, but even if you made a generalisation, it shows how quick people can be to make generalisations, and others may then just take such statements for fact, and start looking for their own trauma, when there really is none. I don't know what I'm trying to say exactly, maybe that I think there is a lot of truth in what Mooji is saying here. Some people may watch this video and want an 'excuse' not to really take it in, and they should know that this just feeling something is wrong doesn't have to mean trauma, it can also just be the conditioning of the mind, which can be seen through.

My parents both died in the last twelve months and my siblings have rejected me since. They have taken my parents house. My sense of belonging to family is leaving me - and I feel empty. But like the guy talking to Sri Mooji 'saying he feels there is something wrong' I can relate to that, it is grief and or perhaps letting go of the familiar and therefore feeling that something is wrong because we all want a sense of belonging which often comes from the familiar. "Feeling that something is wrong" requires hiding in God/ resting in God and laying at the Lord's feet and surrendering completely. That's how I'm getting through this grief, somehow God takes over That's all I can say🌠

Sometimes people have a genuine, severe chemical imbalance of the brain, and that is what they are "feeling". The danger is the man said he does not like being alive. That is a cry for immediate help, and you could see it all over his face. The self, is not something someone can convince you to witness after you shake off the noise of your mind, that's a pile of craps. The self is like a 10,000w projector in front of your eyes (and that's just a metaphor, because you Are the projector), you can't shake yourself of IT, and nothing can. While "connected"/united with the self, the noise of the mind is merely a buzz of a fly somewhere deep inside you, and the feeling of bliss, love, tranquillity and divine love are flooding YOU from the core to the edges of creation. If you're not Awake, and not in this state of awareness, something IS very wrong with you. Blaming it on the mind and of being distracted by the mind is a complete misunderstanding of the human being, his relation to creation and his potential spiritual development. It is almost possible to say that "falling" into the mind is a Consequence of your condition not the cause of it. It is not possible to fully say that because there IS a chicken-egg relationship between the awareness and the mind, and falling into the mind is very much feeding it, so letting go of the mind and all the attachments is a good practice and in the right direction, but you let go and... maybe you get a bit quiet for a short while, sometimes more relaxed, but you only slightly wake up, and you can't even stay in this situation for too long, not to mention being enlightened or reaching self completion. Which brigs us to what's really wrong with someone? There are two kinds, or levels of problems with regular people. The first is a deliberated problem... We were born incomplete. That's a human starting point, that's his regular state. We have a spiritual aspect which runs on a very high frequency and a physical aspect on a very low frequency, and they don't mix. The tones and energy from the high aspects don't "reach"/connect with the lower and vise versa, there's a huge gap between the two and our humanly existence is positioned exactly "on it". A regular person's consciousness can only dwell in one of them at a time, and naturally it is closer to the spiritual part, the mind and intellect. We were born like that for a cause, a mission. The only thing that can fill the mentioned gap is a missing mid medium (several actually), the energetic body(/ies). We only born with the seed of it and it can only grow and be accomplished by a long , quite hard, intentional work. A person without an established energetic body can not wake up and can not be awakened, it's like trying to bake a bread without water, just burning the flour, there's a substance missing for the reaction. And that's how life feels without the missing substance, burnt flour. So if that's how life feels for you, that's not a trick of the mind, that's your real situation, and if you've reached facing it, you know that your mind can only brag about it and come up with, or look for solutions but it doe's not creating it. Your mind can't also find the solution for it because of course, the mind can only process what is known to it, and the solution lies in the unknown. The second problem is a real problem, and it is energetic imbalance. It is increasingly common in our time that people, even not in a conscious spiritual seek, develop the higher aspects of their energetic body dis-proportionally to the lower aspects of it and the physical body. These people are more aware/sensitive/honest than the common person, many times it happens to spiritual seekers along the way, usually they realise certain truths very quickly and advance much on several aspects while set back on others, and with a strong inner drive they over charge and activate the higher aspects in a way that creates immense internal pressure in them, with very little means to discharge it or letting it reach the substance it should react with. Obviously, there are several levels for this imbalance. Depression and anxiety are typical energetic imbalances of such kind. That's no wonder at all that some people run to the hospital after a satsang! These gurus are really enlightened, and thus radiating energy that charges up the energetic body, and I promise you none of you would like your energetic body to lit up when it is not fully developed and soaked in the physical body, and not like with relatively balanced seekers, it can lit up (spiritually) for those who have developed it disproportionately to their lower parts capacity. They're not just paranoids that let their mind freak them out. The hormonal and psychological explanations of these disorders are just what modern medicine can recognise of it, so you won't find there any real understanding of these problems as well, but at least they have been testing and experimenting with their drugs for few decades and, miraculously or not, came out with some that may assist certain situations. Both depression and anxiety can reach severe levels. But basically, moderate depression actually means you're getting closer! your self is "too big" to be disregarded , distracted or satisfied with anything but it's revelation, and the mind is clueless about the situation so there's no hope in your sight. If it is moderate and you can bare it and function and keep being positive about your spiritual seek, that's just fine, and that's how it IS. If not, don't hesitate to get help. Anxiety is a bit different. If you suffer panic attacks, like feeling you're choking/about to explode and die with no clear reason, that's a real disorder, one part of you has been developed much faster than others, and it is like carrying the empire state building on your shoulders, and it is soaked in gasoline. TAKE any drug they'll give you (not the weed dealer!!! this will make it worst), and work on finding the lower floors you need to complete in order to BE that empire state, It'll worth it.

I think Moojo couldnt answer, or make the man realize the happiness, because there is some sort of fatigue going on with mooji himself. Moojis mind and belly may be open, mind and consciousness work together like charm, but the heart is lacking. But then again, doing that job 24/7 is a huge task. And the answer did touch the core. But yet, what is freedom without the warmth of heart.

I feel similar. Mooji said a lot of right stuff. But, throughout the video, he mostly sounded very rational (not all the time), maybe even tired. I could be projecting a bit, but as I'm aware of this possibility, at least, not fully.

Jaakko Autio, no one can make another person happy or realise happiness. Your opinion is based on an assumption that this must've been Mooji's task. When such existential issues are touched, no one can do the work for others. Finding out how our own inner life, motives and drives, is geared and constructed, is inherent to the path of self-knowledge and the release or revelation that follows (hopefully). No one can do this for another person or for you. Also, you seem to have a certain image of how the heart shows its openness. As if expressing of sentiments are a sign of a heart connection. Look at your expectation and find your homework in it, I suggest. It may surprise you that I found a tremendous amount of heart connection, in Mooji as well as in the questioner. To me it shows up in the genuine attempt they both make, in order to grow in awareness.

I like mooji and I totally get wot hez saying about the pure self..... But he talks in riddles..... And he can never practically show someone how to acheive enlightenment..... Because he is one of those rare individuals like eckhart tolle who just suddenly without having to put any action in received enlightenment.... So he can't show people how to do it because doesn't how its actually achieved!!

Is this some kind of psychological counseling ... Bcause Advaita is not something you can talk about but lived. That's why it's called the path of 'Self Realization'.

Who showed you the truth?
@Patkht6 жыл бұрын
"Self Realization"doesn't mean "auto-realization", but "Realization of the Self". Try to learn a little bit more about Advaita Vedanta - you might found Sri Ramana Maharshi a great Master of the 20th century, then Sri Papaji, one of his students, Sro Mooji being "son" of Papaji. The 3 of them you might find video, if you really want to be honest

The guy said something just feels wrong. I just wanted to add as Mooji doesn't really speak about relative 'little' stuff. But it's important to get lots of other things right, like nutrition for example. This guy could have any kind of chemical or hormonal imbalance...gut imbalance or nutritional deficiencies that you really can't put your finger on sometimes but can cause all kinds of not feeling right. Hell even too much semen loss through sex or masturbation can make a man feel defective! I know Mooji talks about the 'whole' but the relative term 'holistic' (when considering overall health) is important too. Many aspects of health can be important to address not just 'waking up'. It feels like mooji dismisses this sometimes as if all will feel well once the self has been realised. I know he's not a nutritionist but I still feel he's a bit short sighted at times...as great as he is!
@sadyar7 жыл бұрын
Nutrition is something to body-mind construction.. Getting rid of self makes you happy animal style. And makes you vulnerable to things you mentioned. "Self" put humans to the top of the food chain - without it human no longer will be there - desires to have more makes you aggressive.

It's not about getting the body to feel well. It's about realizing the true nature we are and by doing that we will still feel pain if we break a leg but we will not suffer it anymore.

I think you have to take into account that these people came to see him and that they knowingly know he is not a nutritonist or a medical doctor, they came to see him as a spiritual guide. Something led him here, he decided to follow the desire.

How can you have more love than knowing what you are?
@devonseamoor5 жыл бұрын
Can you imagine, pinko pallino, that accepting his condition is an act of love for himself? It's at the root of all growth to first accept to be where one is fully, before one can leave that place and step in new territory, increasing autonomy. Before love can seed in us, the soil needs to be prepared and made fertile. That's an act of self love leading toward being at peace with oneself.

I used to love listening to Mooji, before he became so huge. What turns me off completely, now, is the simperingly worshipful veneration of his followers. Get a spine and man up, women included! He's just a man, not a God!!!

You think so? I dont believe all of then want to ask questions. Some just sit and listen. And there must be a good circumstances for evolving with that many conscious people around. It is a rather good sign that many go there to learn, isnt it?

Our emotions are triggered by everyday events whereby we have certain expectations. If our expectation (desire) is not what we want we experience the emotion of pain, hate, and anger. Freedom from emotions can be achieved when begin to learn and understand. See how, wayofspinoza.ocm
