Hi Joel, just some answers to your questions! £10 will get you 2-3 pints of beer, depending on where you buy it. The Green bank note is C$20, it’s not spendable in the UK unless you exchange it for GB Pounds. It has the Queens picture on it because she is Head of State in Canada, it being part of the British Commonwealth! Forget pubs for buying Fish and Chips, always use a traditional Fish and Chip Shop, they’re far better tasting and value for money. I also intend visiting the USA, particularly Gettysburg Battlefield, PA. I may spend a month in the US although I’ve nothing planned yet! It was good to see your little bro again, but please tell him to be careful when opening boxes with a box cutter, he was slashing at them, use box cutters in a careful and controlled manner! Just remember in the UK its 240 volts not 110 volts. Meaning if you times don’t have dual voltage you’ll fry them. Check the plug or label on appliance should let you know if the item is dual voltage or not.

My 'main' local Pub is cash only, other local Pubs it's either cash or card. For a £10 depends what is bought and strength of alchohol. Pub prices vary a lot. In my local they like to keep the prices down so a Tenner works out around 2½ pints.

Many of the London sights are within easy walking distance of each other, for example:- Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, !0 Downing Street. Horse Guards Parade, The Mall, St. James's Park leading up to Buckingham Palace. It's easy for the first time tourist to think these places are further apart than they actually are and spend a small fortune on unnecessary public transport.

In London and generally the south of England...1 pint with change to possibly a 1/2 a pint as well but depending on the place, day and time, 2 pints with a special offer! This could be the same in a lot of touristy places though, like York in the North of England but the further north and non-touristy places you could get 5 pints at £2 ($2:46) a pint but if say the average cost of a pint is between £2:50~£3 ($3:08~$3:69). However, as you know, a lot of pubs do a meal deal, so to speak, where you can pay anything from £5 ($6:16) to £9 ($11:08) for a meal and a drink included!!! Laughed like mad when you found the £10 note and said you were rich 😂😂😂😂 Enjoy your trip to the UK and hope to bump in to you, although I doubt we will!
