Speaking from a Londoners perspective, I believe that Pantomimes are an abomination! Seriously even as a child they never appealed to myself or anyone I knew, I think they must be an acquired taste but one that I never cared to indulge in.☺ Unlike the taste of blackcurrants of course that we grow up enjoying greatly. We sometimes drink it made with hot water for a nice warming drink, lovely with a slice of lemon and also blackcurrant and apple juice, jam etc. is delicious!

I’m writing this before the end of the video but I assume that Queen and Pink Floyd are in the middle of the list because there’s The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin (which personally I hope appear in that order in the rest of the video).

OMG - never heard of The Kinks, The Who, Deep Purple...suddenly I feel old! Agree with others that Black Sabbath deserve a mention (though I was never a fan), but what about Cream? I mean, the first super group, with Clapton, Baker, Bruce - just listen to the live version of Crossroads

This is really a great number! By Jerry & the Pacemakers - the Liverpool sound at the time of the Beatles etc - 1963 - I still have the original LP (33rpm) in Mono - one of the greatest hits - Jerry & the Pacemakers also had a big hit called "Ferry across the Mersey" - my era - I'm 73 but still groove to this sound

I love watching you guys reacting to videos from over here in the UK. Im quite suprised places in the south west likeCornwall and Devon were missed off this list. Theres some really nice places around there if you like things a bit more peaceful. Its alot of countryside and beautiful beaches. Also if you loved York try Lincoln next time you are over that is i really nice place rich in history and architecture. If you visit near christmas time there are some amazing christmas markets around too. Keep up the videos guys, you just got yourself a new subscriber 👍🏻

You generally are supposed to have English tea with milk really (Jersey milk if you can get it), unless it's Earl Grey etc, of course there are exceptions and each to their own! McVities are a good choice, the chocolate ones with caramel are the star of the show though imo! Mince pies are better warmed either in the oven or microwave (the latter heats them crazy fast though, so beware!) and served with vanilla ice cream or some other type of cream (brandy cream is lovely). Our baked beans (from the same company) have way less sugar than yours, keep that in mind! Beans on toast is humble food, it became a thing because of WWII rationing and just stuck because it's cheap, tasty and quick to make! (Mature) Cheddar cheese on top is popular, also some salt and freshly ground black pepper. Have on decently toasted door stopper slices of bread, with bacon, English sausages, grilled or fried tomatoes and mushrooms and mmmmm, it's also nice to mix with Scottish breakfast ingredients like square sausage and potato scones and perhaps some black pudding (that one is not Scottish) if you're brave! You were right to start with prawn cocktail flavoured crisps, they are the best imo, also try pickled onion flavoured Munster Munch, very tasty! We don't clean off eggs because it would raise the potentiality of infection getting into the egg (it thins the wall of the egg shell). I still refrigerate eggs though, only because I usually buy in bulk. We take the piss out of each other, but my friends and family love America and don't buy into the stereotypes, just so you know!

My introverted ass can’t stand pantos. Even as a child I hated them and would cringe when my school took us to see them. I don’t like drag shows either. Not because I have any issue with men dressing up as women or anything. I just think it’s OTT. Still support the right for them to exist though even if it’s not my cup of tea. Homophobes can do one as far as I’m concerned.

Blackcurrant flavour stuff is the best! As a Brit, i was brought up on blackcurrant jam, and ribena! And i still love it! Our voltage is much higher here in the UK, i think yours is 110 volts, ours is about 240 volts, so its more dangerous if you go sticking things into plugs!
@EliteMelodies16 сағат бұрын
Do you find these differences confusing? You have no idea what it's like between us, the Portuguese, and the Brazilians. There are things with the same name that have very different meanings. Some are even extremely conflicting 😁

Hot water bottles. When I was a kid we had no central heating also no double glazing. Our house had two open fires, one in the sitting room and one in the dining room. In the winter bedrooms were freezing 🥶 Hot water bottles where an essential survival item! 😂

re: rice, or wheat: they can be microwaved in a fabric bag, These can prevent burns if someone misjudges the position of the hot water bottle's neck when pouring scalding hot water from a kettle. Take it from me, I've done that quite a few times. (For my wife, not for me.) But they do seem to lose their stored heat much faster than a hot water bottle (again, according to my wife).
