CHRISTMAS DAY STAT WITH TASH DAY AVkm DIFFkm 248 42.54 SAME DAMN! All the feels! Kudos to everyone for doing their best to make the occasion a special one. For all of the longings for home, this one will be remembered with the biggest smiles and retold with the most pride. I had 2 years where it wasn't what I'd hoped. The first one I spent in a shelter for refugees and Christmas Day was also the last day of Ramadan. The place was filled with people separated from comforts, but everyone came together to make it a special one. The 2nd time my family had other plans leaving me alone with my 8 month old son. I was invited to a churches Christmas dinner event. A 2 course meal was laid on with hot drinks and we were sharing the occasion with other single, impoverished, and elderly people from the parish. Dinners were delivered to some people who were unable to attend in person. After dinner a local pensioner played Christmas songs and carols whilst everyone joined in. I can honestly say it is my favourite Christmas memory. So lads and ladettes, if your christmas isnt special, see if you can make it special for someone else.
