I Made A Ballista Into A LASER? Rogue Tower

What's going on everybody? Wibo here! Today I have an interesting video for you! We are playing modded Rogue Tower again but this time we are using the Ballista! The mods that we have double the enemies and the gold drop from them, Also we have a mod that increases the rounds per minute that the tower shoots for each level the tower has. Can we take down Oogie with this tower? Well you'll just have to watch to find out! Don't forget to Like, Comment and Subscribe! We are trying to get to 1000 Subs!

stagger your expands more (meaning more on one split than the others) so the enemy's don't clump up as much :) that will help alot

The most limiting factor appears to be travel time of the projectiles, if you notice the ballista and mortar tend to hold the line better once the enemies reach the bend where it sits. While at a distance it has to keep shooting at one target until it dies before it can retarget to something else, this was more noticeable with the mortar as it would fire volleys at the lead enemy during the first shot’s travel time.

It was definitely the retargeting pivot time. You can see on lines that head towards the tower it mows them down but once they get in close and circle it the fire rates drops massively. Travel time can play a "part" in it but the retargeting time is way worse.

when using a single tower that does damage against a single target at a time, then dont balance out your paths to all arrive at the same time, you should stagger them cus you do at times but then balance them out again which is when they push forward. and on the other side of that for a multi target tower then you want to balance them to arrive at the same time

Starting from level 16 you should try to get mines around every ore vein and haunted houses around every gravestone. The money from the haunted house scales according to the tower's health, so the mines will help them pay off quickly. (And of course repair the tower so you don't die from a few leaks here and there). The extra income is essential for buying the upgrades as the enemies scale up quickly in the later levels. Also I'd like to see this challenge with something like a flamethrower or poison tower.

I'm saying this at 4:27, so maybe you address it later. It's something I noticed you did in your other videos. It made sense on the one artillery video because it kept the enemies clumped together, but if you don't want am the Emeka at once, you should focus on one expand point. It extends the rounds a bit because you will always have one entry point that's really far away, but the enemies will be more spread out and give you a better chance of success.

Loving the channel, especially these Rogue Tower videos. I find them strangely relaxing. Would love to see you give this challenge another go, I very much enjoyed the laser ballista idea.

8:35, you should have never expanded on that side because the ballista was able to pick them off right from the start. should have extended a different path to try and stagger the enemies. also try to focus perks that give more gold or the one where you can chop trees for more card chance. obviously make sure you can win the next round but try and focus those cards over damage in the beginning so you can have more gold and perks in the end game where it's more crucial.

Try only ballista, spam them on +3 positions. Then go heavy on economy with only the more mobs mod and out the universities. Then all the ballistas should get insanely powerful.

how about make some some uncommon tower something Try that Wampire Tower but a Suppor use Freeze tower, or as support Flame/Acid tower idk how strong Wampire can be... but it might be Cool right?

I'm not certain, but I think if you're one-shotting everything then the damage over time affects aren't helping much. Better to choose a different card.

Since projectile speed is an issue, have you tried the cannon tower? Or maybe the vampire tower sinces its range is so massive

Do you play on a specific version of Rogue Tower? When I play with mods, then some towers dont work.. For example Poison Tower just looks at enemies without shooting. Have you encountered this issue?
