I Made a DIY Skid Steer Log Splitter!

Жыл бұрынSplitting large firewood rounds in the wood yard with my homemade skid steer log splitter. I use this to chuck up the big rounds down to a size I can split with an axe or my hydraulic log splitter. I filmed this during a crazy thunderstorm so the weather was a little wild on this one. Heck i was happy adding a log lift to my splitter but thats a whole other level right there for them big rounds . 3 footers are about as big as we get up here in Maine . Very nice rig ya got there

I converted my box store splitter to a fork mounted version of this. Itt isn't fast, but it breaks 40"+ rounds down small enough to handle on a secondary splitter. 👍

Dont blame you in "cheating" with the skidsteer on braking these down. I know i have had my shair of 4 foot rounds and broke them all down with mauls and wedges..
