I shot my first official PCSL match today hosted by @mission160range . It took me a stage to get used to spotting it, but I am digging the K-zone idea (1 shoot to K-zone is equivalent to 2 A-zone hits). On the 4th slide, I felt like I was falling behind because my shots on steel were atrocious, so I decided to aim for the K-zone for the last 8 targets. Although I had some costly makeups, I still believe it saved me time.
I had 3 misses this match, which I would love to have back, esp since I didn’t call any of them!
I’ll be drilling shot calling and visual patience more.
