The Rose Anvil guy just trashed these sneakers -- very politely. Says they are very overpriced; he called them $75 Walmart or Costco shoes. He says they are "summer office sneakers," not 4-seasons sneakers. Says they are not durable at all, that the soles will wear out fast. He did say that it's Atoms' fault, that they should know better.

Those things look like they're sold on hangers at Walmart.

What I learned from this pair of sneakers is that most of the people who reviewed this have a shallow understanding of shoe quality and pricing.

For this shoe I would not spend so much money. It won't be very durable because of the materials and $200 is a lot for that crap, but the shoe is meant to be comfortable and that's a good look.

Completely agree with the elastic laces. First thing I do with all my shoes is stick some elastic laces in them 👍🏻 shoes look awesome but I'm more of a low profile kinda guy.

i loved the fit on the atoms i got 3 years ago, and the fact that they made them in large sizes. but the foam sole was super light and therefore basically disintegrated within 6 months. would be great to hear whether and how that’s changed since then.

It's rally cool, that you make your dream come true and give a little of that to your fans. For a first sneaker design its really astonishing what you put together, but honestly they look a bit like your average 30-60$ Jordan Clones, so I would only get them because you made 'em.
