I'm amazed the tiny button symbol embosses on the back shell were captured in casting. That's awesome! Didn't know silicone casting could have that kind of resolution.

There's probably not a lot you can do with such a feature dense controller as the DS5, only aesthetics. Maybe upgrade the battery? Still, this was a very clean job, I was surprised you were able to preserve the detail of the bottom shell. And the paint job on the upper shell was just splendid, really great job. I am in agreement with you, pucho killed it on the paint, its so nice. I will likely explore some of the electrical aspects of the controller here soon, but I wanted to get all the molds built for now. Bless you and your family also, cheers!

I dont wanna sound mean but pc or next gen console is the best option. Its playable on current gen but its not or no where as good looking as next gen and pc. You would think its a $30 game on current gen.

This was is so awesome! I bought the game at his released but am still waiting for the February big update (which has been postponed) before trying it out! I used to play the tabletop version way back in the day and I've been waiting g for this game for years so waiting a couple more months is not a big deal for me! Great video and keep up the good work!

Wow amazing !! Both of you guys did great !! Love the black yellow and blue green! :D The deer in the headlight made me laugh, how come Sony did not made a custom controller as well lol. The XBOX one was horrible :D You guys are the best ! :D

nice job! for the face buttons, o, box, triangle and square, I'd recommend maybe some engraving ? Not necessary but just a thought. turned out amazing though!

I absolutely love it! But, it looks like the color of the aqua-turquoise is a little off. I have the Cyberpunk 2077 gaming mouse from Razor and it's got the color spot on.

hey what happens if i don't put the epoxy in the pressure pot? So would it be enough just to engase the silicone and then let it dry for 24 hours at room temperature?

@@RockerGaming no probs. I do have an idea actually for the resin idea. How about we do a Samus theme. The front should be a red(red glitter) and a orange and/or gold(glitter orange or gold) based on her Varia Suit. And of course resin casted buttons to your liking. The paracord should be a black color. Now that would be a good idea. But to each it’s own.

That looks amazing! Seriously man get an isesamo for a pry tool. I highly recommend that tool and sharpening it then knocking off teh edge with some 1000 grit sand paper. It makes removing parts a breeze. But I recommend getting an actual isesamo. Theres one on ebay for $9.98 that comes with a mini one that should be genuine. Same deal on amazon. They also have a 2 pack for $15 and that one I know is legit as I bought it recently.

Im almost done with my custom ps5 cyberpunk controller, casting without a pressure pot is a pain to do.

ohhh make sure you share with me. I want to see it! Yeah you can cast without a pressure pot, but I would recommend vacuum degassing your resin first and using a resin with a long open window, i.e. epoxy. While this will not guarantee no bubbles it gives you the best opportunity to make that happen. A pressure pot was a game changer for me and made my casting process significantly easier.

It is pretty strong. I am using a urethane resin which is very durable. I think as long as you're not planning to spike this controller you should be good to go!

As much as I like playing with the new dual sense it just looks plain damn awful as does the PS 5 cover. White is dreadful and the sooner options are available the better. Your take just looks so good and there are quite a few vids where people have jumped right in and gave themselves an option. You are wise people. Sony are you watching.
