Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look..

@@DailamiPuang Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years,

@champhallier8468 I agree, and for that reason I prefer to have a financial consultant make my day-to-day investment decisions. Given that their entire skill set is based on going long and short at the same time as well as employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's nearly impossible to not out-perform. I've been using a financial consultant for over two years and I've already seen positive.

Since then, she has given me entry and exit points for the Equities/ETFs I'm interested in. If you want to make a fast online search using her name, feel free. In his 1st example, he bought 1000 shares of SPY (SPDR) @ $419.78/share = $419,780. Even if he bought on margin, he'd need about $210,000. In the 2nd example, he bought 1000 shares of TSLA @ $213.44/share = $213,440. $107,000 on margin. That's a lot cash for the pikers watching this video. lol Even if you only bought 100 shares, you still need a lot of cash. ES and MES futures are a much better deal. Both track the S&P 500. Both are very liquid. At many futures brokerages, the ES performance bond is $500/contract; $50/contract on MES. No PDT rule in futures. For tax purposes, your net annual gain (loss) from futures trades is treated as 60% long term, 40% short term capital no matter how long you hold a position. Check it out.

Hey there, I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

My personal broker/investment manager; Mr Nathan Davis, he runs an investment platform where you don't have to undergo any stress in the trades, he manages my account and all I need to do is invest capital and he gets a tiny bit of my returns as his commission

Contrary to what he says near the start of the video, if your RISK:REWARD ratio is 1:2 , then if you lose on each of the first two trades but win on the 3rd trade, you will not be profitable. You will only break even. - 1 - 1 + 2 = 0. Furthermore, the outcome of the 3rd trade is completely independent of the outcomes of the first two trades. You could lose on all 3 trades.

you have to be right 40% of the time to be profitable with a 1:2 strategy. the chart at 1:13 represents this. therefore, it doesnt matter if you lose all 3 trades.

@@Alpacabowl98 1) "1:2" is not a "strategy." It's a risk:reward ratio. 2) Your claim that "you have to be right 40% of the time to be profitable with a 1:2 strategy [sic]" is incorrect. If you have a 1:2 risk:reward ratio, you only have to be right 33-1/3% of the time to break even. Therefore, ANY win rate more than 33-1/3% would be profitable, assuming losses don't draw down your account below the minimum needed to continue trading. 3) The video narrator's exact words were, "We want at least a 1 to 2 risk reward ratio. This means if we even do lose two trades, we'll still be profitable if we win that third trade." "At least a 1 to 2 risk reward ratio" means a reward:risk ratio that is greater than _OR EQUAL TO 2:1._ If the reward:risk is _EQUAL TO 2:1,_ then the hypothetical "lose two trades, win the third trade" scenario would only break even. E.g., if you make $200 when you win and lose $100 when you lose, then you will have lost $200 after the 2nd trade. Therefore, the best you could do after the third trade is break even. But you could lose on the third trade, in which case you'd be down $300.

I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 31% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest

QUESTION IS--If trader was trading forex pair to hold for average duration of 3 days what time frame should be used for TREND DIRECTION?--IS IT 4 H CHART? Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower times frame trend).Trend on 4H chart may be the best trend guide for majority of forex traders.. By the time trader confirms that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 5-7 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 10--15,four H candles has enough big players/juice/force behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset to lose again. Your wisdom please.?

Only things I didn't hear in this very nice presentation is time frame you are trading on, the period of time from market open before you consider the high of day or low of day break retest trade, do you limit this watch list to a certain basket of stocks and are you trading ATM, OTM, or ITM contracts?

I know that today, Aug. 24th, was a weird, weird day, but I was looking at FULC, and it looked like it hit its low by like 7:15 am (it began at its high, for sure - everything tanked today). It had only the tip to of 2 candles that got above that line right around 8. Is that when you are supposed to jump in? Or do you wait until after 10 am when it goes up and dips back below the line? It only goes from 5:50 to 5:40 at that point, so not as much would be made. I'm just struggling with knowing in real time when to jump in and not misread it and lose, you know? Found this information to be SO helpful, though! It's much clearer in looking at a few others. Thank you for posting!! :)

Does anyone think copy trading is still a thing? I know it made a lot of easy millionaires when it was a trend some years back. When it was made especially popular by the concept of social trading in Etoro, it got me wondering if this method still works. My portfolio is drifting terribly far from safe waters lately. I'm really looking for a lifeline

@Ren I tried it and I do have my regrets. Sure, it has nice traders, but I got burned a number of times due to their lack of consistency. It's more like a hub for one-hit wonders. If you get lucky, you go green when you subscribe to a hot trader, and then you lose all your profits the next week. My aim just got defeated for me.

This is what I do. I find trending stocks. I get in for the first impulsive move of the day. And then I'm out by the 9.45 pullback. Google how stocks move on the daily. And basically I just follow stocks that tend to move in the same direction all day once established. This is what day traders did before chart patterns etc which I see mostly as voodo when it comes to predicting future performance. Is it a pullback or a continuation? No one knows. And therefore it's completely useless to me. I just use momentum and volume which is real time and not lagging.
