I Melted Clean (FREE) Copper Pipes Into Beautiful Bars, To A Mirror Finish

I had a couple subscribers suggest that I melt the copper pipes that I got during my curbside scavenging so I decided to give you what you want. It was good to get my melt on again after doing so much scrapping lately. It also allows me to be more creative with my editing. Also, I poured the bars out in the sun so you can see the real color of copper. When I pour in my garage, although more convenient for me, it's hard to see the real color of copper in the shadows.
I hope you enjoy this one - I really had a blast melting it and even editing it all. We're less than 20 subscribers away from 3,000 so I'm pretty pumped about that. Thank you all!

Nice. Those pipes must have been used to run butter through. 😂😂. So you ended up with 3 bars and a cell phone. I was really thinking you were going to make a couple of coins. Hence the treasure. 🎉🎉✌️😎

Wow that color is really nice. It looked really thin liquid when you were pouring it, must have been really hot. Those ones are the best yet! so shiny 😎

That's just what I need, a piece of rail stock. That pour looked so good, yes like rose gold. I like watching it crystallize. So how hot was it ? today here was a perfect 68 F. 🌞👍

Yeah 68 F is about perfect. It was 89 that day and HUMID! I nearly overheated myself. I got that piece of rail at a flee market for $10 I think.

I love to watch copper being poured. It's like firey Tang, and it pours so smooth. Question- Why does the crucible look like it has a glaze of sorts and looks like it's "sweating"?

That sweating is actually copper from previous pours that hardened on it then melted again on this batch.
