Wille really needed that apologize from august, i wish he did it also with simon. August is such an interesting character, we can feel bad for him, even though he did awful things to his cousin. I doubt he will actually like to be king... I can't watch that lake scene without crying, and that whole scene was improvised by edvin and omar.😢 And simon's song sing by the whole choir 🥲 the "have a nice summer" was a parallel with "have a nice christmas" in the las ep of s1😉 earlier in the season he quote his mother to simon, and during that conversation in the car he quote simon to his mother, yes he is learning from him 🥲 and that last fourth wall finally smiling 🥰🥲 I'm gonna miss that show/characters so much!!!! I don't think you've done Good Omens yet, can you do it next?

I feel you. This season was so emotionally loaded. I watched it all with a heavy heart, also knowing that it would be the last season. The writing was incredibly good and complex but I just wish there were some more happy moments. The finale really did it for me. All of the callbacks, everything. I bawled my eyes out for the entire episode LOL. Love your reactions, thank you!

I saw an interview where a good part of that dialogue was improvised, they were just talking together. Also the final scene they were both crying IRL. They are all such good friends it must have been so difficult to end the series. I was bawling when it was over 😭

I’ve felt about this show in a similar way that I’ve felt toward Heartstopper: the first seasons of both were very strong, and then the second season was even stronger and more complex than the first. I don’t know that I would say this season was better than season two, but I think I found it pretty much on the same level of quality. To me, the storytelling decisions were the right ones because they were consistent with the characters while allowing them to also grow. And like most people, I was just as glad we didn’t see Marcus in this season; having him mentioned where he was was plenty. I have enjoyed your reactions to the show, and I personally would love to see you react to either Druck (the German version of Skam) season 3 or another Thai BL series (Bad Buddy and My School President would both be great choices).

while watching s3, i could tell it had a different tone and vibe compared to the last 2 seasons. after watching s3, i already knew it wasn't my favorite season despite the outcome. i haven't even rewatched s3, except through yt reactions. wilhelm and simon reuniting was expected so there was no surprise there. wilhelm abdicating was no surprise since seeds were planted ever since s1 with august taking over. even though i would've liked to seen wille remain, become king, change the monarchy, etc, i knew that was likely not going to happen. august did not bother me that much this season. it was necessary to see some growth and change w/him. i'm glad sara stepped away from august and wanted to be on her own. i'm even more happy that felice knew those friends were not her friends and that sara was more of her kin. i think felice/sara's reunion was my favorite ending. felice actually became my 2nd favorite character in the series. seeing where and how she started to now, i really loved felice. i'm sure i could go into a lot of different things about this season, but i'm trying to stay positive. i've enjoyed the series. i knew before i started watching s3 that there would be things i would not agree or enjoy as that's usually the case w/final seasons. however, it's one of the best original ya stories i've seen onscreen that still managed to connect w/viewers in different age ranges, and i'm going to miss it.

I thought the show was going to end with a flash forward. Wille would become king, but he used his power to make positive changes that he learned from Simon. Simon is making music and living his life. Then, through an act of chance, the two would meet up again and rekindle their relationship. But this ending also makes sense. Wille never wanted to be king and only wanted the crown so that August wouldn't have it. Now that Wille and August have reached an understanding, he doesn't need to hold on to the crown anymore.

I wouldn't say a lot of the season was flat. I DO think it was much stronger on character and philosophical discussion than it was on story. This season has my favorite story arcs overall, but it did leave some things hanging and the first EPS "solved" deep issues like August's crime and Simon's drug dealing too quickly. Season 2 was the worst for me, and felt like a rehash of Season 1 that failed to open plot doors or move in story arcs that were NOT about the central relationship. Only interesting part to me was Sara and August.
