Honestly I believe young people move to LA searching for opportunities without realising they are non-existent. Between homelesness, sky-rocketing prices, not supporting small bussinesses and pollution it's hard to thrive. However, I sincerely hope that you can establish your new life there and be happy!

I moved to Amsterdam alone to study and I struggled so much. I felt the loneliest I've ever felt. I can relate to you so much, but things will get better! The beginning is always the hardest

I just moved from India to the Netherlands to do my master's in Automobile engineering(international higher studies) about 4 months ago and that was everything I had dreamt of since class 8. And within 4 months I now have a totally new plan, a totally new vision for what I want for my life. As soon as I complete my degree, get some experience in the field. As soon as I get an opportunity to move to LA I will Grab it and be lucky enough to start living my dream. Maybe 2 years from now but sure. I want to live and work and struggle and hustle in LA. Idk why I am typing this here. But I want to tell someone about this plan which is so far-fetched that if I tell this to anyone I know I won't get a positive response. So here it goes.

Living in la all my life I can understand why you would wanna move out here but please don’t end up hating it like other youtubers have it’s a really chill place :/

as a person who’s lived in la my whole life. I kind of find it hard to know that people wanna move to la. I get it’s romanticized and a place that’s known for a lot of things but it’s so expensive. Job opportunities are higher here but you’ll be spending 75% of your time at work just so you can breath LA air 😭 but if youre happy, welcome to la !

This was such a raw and relatable vlog! Loved your authenticity, optimistic attitude, and everything in-between. Living alone can definitely be very lonely. After the honeymoon period and momentum of moving faded, I also found myself de-energized and often laying in bed... but eventually you find your groove! Being alone forces you to grow in ways you couldn't before living with others and you learn to be comfortable sitting with your own thoughts. I would never take back this experience. Keep putting yourself out there and welcome to this new exciting chapter of your life! ✨P.S. Those Daiso legos look so fun!!

-I moved to LA to experience my last two years of Uni on campus. Tbh LA was rough, esp moving there alone for me. I hated it. Glad to be back home in Asia. It's not great unless you got that grinding energy, money, and connections. I did not feel safe at all and I live in the heart of West Hollywood. Just my experience tho. Some ppl I met there loved it. The culture was weird to me. More of a fun place to visit, not live. I moved from Bangkok, so I was used to city life. but LA was a big YIKES. Nothing like the movies or vlogs. Dont rely on influencers to teach you about LA. + It was a good experience to learn how to deal with rough situations, being alone and generally growing as a young adult. Was pretty scary. Glad I learned from it.

im glad i came across this video because i am also someone who wants to move out when im older, since where i live rn feels boring, plus i want to adventure the world . but this video was a huge eye opener ! that's what i'm most scared of is being all alone in a foreign city ( esp worse if you don't know anyone ) i hope you get better !

I always thought of moving to LA by next year, but I know it wont go as planned and we always don't get what we want at first, but as time goes by you realize that this step you took to get out of your comfort zone makes you a strong individual and remember, always tell yourself "Yes You Can!"

When you are saying you were anxious and upset to try any unfamiliar things in that new place, I think I do the same and I've been struggled for two years in Italy. Recently I am about to graduate and decided to move to Genova then, so I just refused an offer from the company in Milan where I did the internship a year ago. I told my boss I got another plan but in fact I don't really figure it out what's going to be happened in my future. Every friend asks me why I move from Milan while my parents try to persuade me back to China. Lindsiann I am inlove with your pink suitcase .Moving to a new place is always hard especially at 18 it seems to me you are under estimating yourself .The fact that you had the courage to move to LA by yourself tells me you are a strong person who is capable of doing everything and anything here are a few examples you clean your apartment ,cook with that said you are on your way to being an independent adult (you can do anything you set your mind to ).Here’s a productivity tip from a control freak /semi ADHD person plan your hard days make sure you have a calendar write everything you want to accomplish for the month .Every Sunday have a Sunday ritual , write all the stuff you have to accomplish during the week (meals,Homework,tasks,outfits ) in other words goals and what you plan on doing to achieve them .As the days go by I hope your weeks ,months get better and better you are doing a fantastic job love you Hugs 🤗 .

Born and raised in Los Angeles I go out alone to snow board ; buggie board on the sea surf and enjoy some me time at amusement parks like Disneyland I meet people like this and I enjoy their company as my day goes by ! Enjoy your time in L A eventually you will find your other halve .
