I'm not of age (or very responsible) but since I take Amphetamine (Dexedrine) for ADHD, I cannot sleep (also autistic so sleep is already difficult due to overstimulation) without weed. No offence but your friend is the kind of person who stays away from drugs, he/she was probably irresponsible and either overdosed on DXM, or took a DXM product with other active ingredients. I don't understand what people don't get, it's really not hard at all to find products that only contain DXM as an active ingredient. dosing DXM is harder than a lot of other drugs tbh, but if you were to overdose you would know as you're literally drinking over 700ml of cough syrup or more.

Not even close, my husband is more then recommended experienced, diphan trip is a full emersion dream hallucinations that come and go between complete disorientation and complete lose of motor function. LSD is occasionally full emersion but not often and not a depressant, basically opposite ends of the spectrum but can have one, though rarely, similar broad heading symptom. On another note, your friends are either not having much brains or care if they were juat going about their business with you like that!

The stimulant paradox (where stimulants calm ADHD people down) is a myth, amphetamines affect everyone generally the same way.

I could disagree. High dosages often come with Dissociation as well as Very vivid hallucinations. though diphenhydramine isn't a psychoactive compound the trip sure did fuck me up. I'd have to say the experience was equal in visuals with LSD only with the benadryl it was realistic. Rather then patterns and 3D geometric shapes, I was presented with Insect and reptile like hallucinations. Spiders on my legs, Or a snake coming out of the floor and slithering across the carpet, or even writing spelling out "Death" appearing on the table only to erase itself afterwards. The constant feeling of what's real and what isn't is very intense. I can't say it will be an enjoyable trip, more or less the opposite though I would recommend 450-500mg of benadryl with a sitter. This is enough for Vivid hallucinations and heavy dissociation.

Most of the people that trip hard off of that report seeing insects/spiders/snakes like you said and it's definitely not for everybody. It's also extremely dangerous to be taking that in high doses as opposed to actual LSD (notice I say ACTUAL, because we all know RC's can definitely be harmful in high dosages as well!)
