Exactly like I don't want to use animal tested products but I draw the line at people telling me what to eat especially since not everyone can or is willing to be vegan. Guilt tripping them isn't helping them you could make someone anorexic potentially starve themselves if you're not careful with words. psychology is a strong weapon

As a kid you feel bad for prey animals but when you grow up and realize how important they are that doesn’t mean that every bunny you see gets murdered. Also PETA literally kills animals and takes them away from their loving families.

They're sick and don't care if the animal is actually in a healthy loving family, they won't hesitate to kidnap someone's pet and put it down, they animals they "rescue" don't even survive, they rather have a world without animals than a world where animals are eaten... They're honestly a dark joke, specially since it seems their goal with these games is to traumatize children into veganism (Jay literally got a image of real pigs getting tagged)

I think those games count as parody, so it falls under fair use and evades copyright. Though, I do know that the creator of cooking Mama does not like PETA’s copy at all.

I think the funniest part of Pokémon Black and Blue is the fact that Pokémon Black and White actually, covers this topic; And Team Plasma absolutely isn't all for Pokémon liberation, either. They actively hurt Pokémon on screen - One of your first encounters with them is them assaulting a Musharna??? It's not a surprise that they never checked the game, but it's still hilarious considering Team Plasma did some horrible things, to people and Pokémon. Real coincidental.

Fun Fact! In a episode of the Pokemon anime they confirm(or at least heavily implied) that people do eat pokemon they also confirm that Magikarp is inedible do to the fact it's almost completely made of bones

It's actually mentioned in the games too! For example, Pokeslow's tails are edible. Not to mention that it's specified that it regrows and it doesn't even feel it being cut iirc. Also we know that people eat meat and it has to come from somewhere. If not Pokemons then from other people. People in the Pokemon universe are actually a lot more respectful towards them than we are with animals... Makes sense when we know that back in the day, they used to be... Reeeeeal close to Pokemons for some and some of the current mons are very human-like, some even being smarter than humans

I love how for the Pokemon one, they made Team Plasma out to be the good guys even when the whole "we want to free pokemon" thing was a complete lie, one that anyone would know if they actually played the damn game. Also, Ghetsis is the leader of Team Plasma. If they're the good guys, Ghetsis should be depicted as some sort of virtuous leader

I played the New Super Chick Sisters as a kid, and I've remembered it these past 10 years but could not remember what it was called or what the game was about. I just thought it was cool because it was like Super Mario Brothers and I was freaked out by the blood coming out of the KFC Bucket...... I’ve seen Pokémon Black and Blue before and it’s so,, funny, how little they got right about the game 😭 like at least the Cooking Mama one was accurate, all they got right for Pokémon was the fighting interface, which is like,, the most recognizable thing about Pokémon besides the actual creatures Edit: also (although I’m expecting too much of PETA), “using and abusing Pokémon however you want” has never been in the Pokémon games??? Almost every villain has been someone who does that, pokemon have always been shown as friends for their trainers, and that’s reinforced in the anime where they can’t even catch the Pokémon unless the Pokémon wants it Don’t parody something if you don’t know anything about it lol
