I grew up being OBSESSED with How To Train Your Dragon, so the obvious answer for my favorite dragon is the OG Toothless design from HTTYD1. But as far as my true favorite dragon, the winner is Cloudjumper from HTTYD2. His introduction is top notch, when he flies up out of the clouds and circles Hiccup and Toothless, dwarfing them in comparison, being haloed by the sun as he reveals a SECOND set of wings while he and the “Dragon Thief” stare down Hiccup and Toothless was mesmerizing to me the first time I watched it and it still gives me chills. Everything from the music to the lighting to the sound of the growls is just perfect

Devine Dragon, despite it being a gimmick boss, the lead up to the fight, the arena, the vibe everything felt so fun when fighting that boss. Definitely the coolest Dragon fight imo.

I really like the design, boss arena and lore of Fortisaxx, so he's a favorite. Hard to say though with so many cool dragons out there. Blue-Eyes White Dragon from Yugioh is also quite legendary. Anyways, great video as always, cheers from Germany

Favorite dragon of all time is easily Deathwing the Destroyer from wow, the shear awesomeness of him from his design to his voice to how he just flew around the world burning entire regions of the map. Deathwing will always have a place in my heart for being the epitome of what a dragon can be

Seath the Scaleless is just such a cool dragon its gotta be him, he's a classic boss and he drops the most classic weapon too, I wish there were more dragons like him in Elden Ring

Oh so... my favourite dragon huh? It has to be Themberchaud from the Forgotten Realms setting of Dungeons and Dragons. I love the lore behind him, a group of deep dwarves keeping him fed and massive so it could not move or fight back from being used for his fire.

Plaucidicax lore wise seems so epic, truly an engaging fight - even despite their current state they put such a strong fight. Secondly, I love Lansseax. Lan's color and abilities, alongside finding him several times seemed very engaging.

13:34 Actually, that attack is not health-dependent. He sort of charges it up as he attacks. His big sweeping sword attacks in particular send up a pale red smog that collects above the arena. The more he does this, the thicker and redder the haze above the arena gets until the arena looks like hell on Earth, and THEN he does the rain of skulls. Maybe this information will be useful in future runs.

Favourite dragon you ask? the green dragon from dragon slayer quest in Runescape, that was my first actual boss fight in my life probably, I still get excited when I see the head removal little animation playing 17 years later

For me I'd say that fortissax is my favorite, his arena is awesome and the fact that he can one shot me makes me nervous every time but I still love fighting him and it's moove set is incredible too

Favorite dragon? Lansseax, because the first encounter with her is such a shock and visual spectacle, and she has more lore than most other dragons in her dealings with the dragon cult. Pretty hard to lack faith when the object of said faith is literally preaching

Thanks for another fun playthrough with an interesting assortment of enemies! Based on what I've seen from people's boss vs. boss videos, you had a number of close calls with those melee attacks against the multi-hit techniques of Rennala and the Fire Giant. I appreciate that you might have been trying to avoid cheesing such fights via exclusively using the flying fire breath attacks. The modern dragons like Agheel have a surprising amount of variety in their stomp attacks, but seeing them fight other bosses really emphasizes just how tailored those moves and their hitboxes are to facing players. While the modern dragons have a melee hindrance, the ancient dragons get a close-range boost against bosses. The lightning trails of their melee attacks will basically work as a free second hit in these fights, whereas players are usually sent out of range or into i-frames. The hitboxes, hitbox timings, etc. for the ancient dragons' fire breath moves generally seem way worse than those of the modern dragons though. It often feels like the forward fire breath takes too long to begin, has undertuned tracking, the hitboxes are much smaller than the visuals, and the hitboxes might actually start late compared to the VFX. The hind legs breath is similarly too telegraphed and the dragons aim it poorly, but against some bosses it can stack up a lot of hits if used just right, and this is particularly true for the aerial fire breath. In a way, it feels like the modern and ancient dragons have Midir's strong points split between them. Regarding Lansseax and Fortissax in this video, I noticed that Lansseax did the swift "dive bomb" attack, a technique she actually lacks in normal gameplay. However, both lightning dragons in Farum Azula can use this technique, so did you perhaps actually play as one of them instead of Lansseax? Similarly, Fortissax actually has the de facto lowest poise of the ancient dragons due to his reduced stagger mitigation compared to them. Also, Fortissax did a vertical lightning glaive slash that he actually can't do in his boss fight -- Fortissax's glaive attack is a spinning sweep. The vertical lightning glaive slash is unique to the first lightning dragon of Farum Azula. While Fortissax did use Death Lightning at one point, I'm curious if the stats and move pools for the ancient dragons might have gotten mixed up and overlapped during this video. Regarding favorite fictional dragons, this might sound like a cliche answer, but I always thought Shenron and Porunga in Dragon Ball were cool, particularly since they were an early glimpse of what Asian dragons (or their closest equivalent to them) were like. Volvagia was also a really cool fight in Ocarina of Time, with its body glowing like lava, the dramatic arena in a volcano, and the story of using the legendary Megaton Hammer against it. Charizard and Gyarados were also neat, despite their series not counting them as Dragon Types, and Yu-Gi-Oh! has had a ton of cool dragon cards. To keep this long post from being any longer, I think the Stone Dragon of Ash Lake in Dark Souls 1 is cool, Midir is perhaps the best dragon fight, and Placidusax feels like a proper mage and a suped-up Seath battle.

My favorite dragon in not just all soulsborn games but in media in general is Placidusax [I don't think I spelled that correctly] his theme is IMMACULATE in the way it changes based on what he's doing [like when his theme is replaced by a single high pitched note when he nukes or when his theme goes crazy when he dives at you] plus he's also just a pretty fair boss with cool lore.
