We remember the late 90s and early 2000s, and compare how the original and remake made us feel then and now. Frankie is going to remember a year of lockdowns (UK opened back up in June) and then six months of 'with Corona' living. That's probably gonna feel weird af.

I can’t believe I haven’t found this channel earlier with all the great FF content it has, it should’ve showed up in my recommendations way earlier. I guess I should be thankful Crisis Core Reunion juiced the algorithm or whatever. This is on par with Max’s play through just for hype alone. Sound like maybe I should check out whoever this Michaelangelo is too. Anyway, cheers.

I really enjoyed catching Frankie's streams of this one of my favorite games of recent, entertaining and at times heartfelt reactions and commentary. Nice to see it all in recap form here, quite the lift from the editor given how much is in this game.

This is really cool to see a recent convert who played the original and the remake within the year. The amount of respect you have for video games really touches my heart (I'm sure it's the same for a lot of people like me) especially when you're so genuinely interacting with something that formed such a large part of childhood. It was an over 20 year gap between 7 year old me and 30 year old me touching both games, and I swear to you I laughed out loud at Barrett and Cloud bantering, and cried when I first met Aerith in-game and that music hit. Halfway through the video now and really hope you enjoy the end of the experience and fingers crossed that the remake concludes in a way that all us fans, new and old alike, can be happy about.

I never ever played any Final Fantasy game until about a month ago, and it was FF7 Remake. Already finished it once with all side quests, weapons, etc. I'm currently on my second playthrough again on normal difficulty just to level all my materias for hard mode on a third run. I can't fin the words to describe how much I absolutely *LOVED* Remake! I laugh and cried so many times while playing it! You are the funniest youtuber/streamer I've seen in my life! You have so much energy and make me laugh so *SO* hard! (And the last 2 years of my life have been so sad). I just had to sub to your channel inmediately! Thank you for puttin so many big smiles in my face! You've brightened my day!

In the shop with the guy who calls Tifa "baby", you can hear the title music from FF7 PS1 Era, but combined with it is the music you hear in FF10 when Tidus is talking to his fans at the start of the game. I thought it was interesting but never seen anyone else mention it

There's nothing combined. The prelude takes many forms over most of the FF games.

Because I didn't get to watch the livestream, I'm curious if she found Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld, The Tick), guarding the factory in that first bit. And this cut never shows whether she recognized Wedge's voice either, maybe chat clued her in. Just fun voice actor notes.
