It's the first real PS5 game, 4 and a half years into the life of the PS5.

I wasn't sure about this game at the start (thought of it as a worst version of nier but with a lot of fanservice), but after trying the demo and the combat system I preordered de Deluxe Edition, the game feels sooo good and Im not talking about graphics, music or art design which are really good too!

@@HynotamaThere’s a new outfit in the boss challenge that has heels. I’m not a fan of the hoofs either but I think it looks alright for the suit. I sometimes find Eve running around in heels weird although I prefer it, hoofs would look/feel more comfortable (but I get it’s a game, I main the Skin suit anyways for…obvious reasons).

To me, her heels seem clearly inspired by KOS-MOS' later designs in Xenosaga and Xenoblade.

The necktie and hoof heels are the only thing i dislike about her default outfit.

I tried Nikke but i didn't like it. No offence to the girls but the gameplay seemed boring to me. But Stellar Blade seems to be right there up my alley.

Most of the marketing is more focused on Eve's ass than the (apparently pretty good) gameplay. You haven't missed much.

@@SarahKey I've actually come across quite a few people in KZfaq comments that have been either complaining about what I initially mentioned, how Eve really didn't look like the model she was based on saying. Though one of the weirdest complaints about Eve was that she's boring. It's just crazy that the game is getting this much flak, especially when those people don't even take the time to play the demo.

@TimothyGod I know it sounds crazy, but I am serious. I always start from the beginning area, then I clean out the whole map and refresh at the parking lot and fast travel to the beginning again. As long as you don't trigger the boss fight at the top of the parking area, you can farm skill points, materials and gold as much as you want. I already unlocked all available skills and am still farming for skill points for the locked abilities, which aren't accessible yet. Also I'm curious if the demo has a cap for the points you can farm. When the games comes.out, I will beat the boss and use this save for the main game, just so I am not restricted when it comes to usable abilities. I have never done something like that before and I myself would think that this is crazy, but it is so much fun.

@@SarahKey I just see a lot of thumbnails that seem surprised as well, and again, to me there was nothing to be surprised about. Everything I had seen in trailers gave me reason to believe it would be GOTY material.

I don't think you noticed that like 99% of them were killed before even reaching the ground. Tachy seemed pretty capable. Even more than Eve but ended getting killed trying to save Eve and considering they were all mostly killed before reaching ground there may have been quite a few capable ones that never even got the chance to show what they could do. As about men. Well considering the physical abilities of men you would expect them to be the ones taking the frond line fighting this monsters so i assume the game may have some kind of story behind that. Maybe men can't aren't compatible with that body suit tech or maybe men are almost extinct and rare or maybe Eve etc are created special superhumans in some way that can only be done with female specimens. At first i though she might be like an Android or something but they seem to be quite human looking at how they died so i rejected that.

I love the combat of Stellar Blade. Sekiro I didn't enjoy as much. But I also spend hours with the demo and the optional boss, learning every possible move / combo and using the different enhancements. (Attack speed is great).

Lol yeah OP here. So the context behind my comment stems from an unhinged ign france journalist who insulted the game director, saying he has never seen a real woman before when creating Eve. The writer got exposed when it was revealed that not only is Eve's body scan from a literal woman (Korean model Shin Jae-eun), the director is also married to a beautiful (subjective) woman, who happens to also be one of the artists for the game. ign france tried to edit the article after this revelation, changing it from "someone who's never seen a woman" to "someone you'd think has never seen a woman," as if that edit made it any better. As a result, I believe the article was pulled or that part was completely removed, but ign america issued a statement claiming that ign france is its own entity (even though they all fall under the same umbrella) and a sincere apology to the developers at Shift Up, especially to the game director. BUT WAIT. There's more! This is what my comment above is parodying. This french journalist would just not let it go and claimed that Stellar Blade is killing women, whether by men objectifying her and that would cause them to beat women, or by women self-deleting because they cannot live up to Eve's standard of beauty. I am not making this up. Look it up, and come back and tell me: does this lady in the video, and all the other girl streamers here on youtube who uploaded their playthrough of this demo, look like they want to kill themselves after playing this game? Or has there been instance of male gamers beating a woman after playing this game? Make it make sense.

That IGN article is doing a lot worse for real victims, real women facing real mental issues than this game is.
