After enjoying playing some of your games several months ago, and Jonas Tyroller decided to make another video like this one, he found his inbox filled with games he'd never get to play. So he asked me if I wanted to make another one of these videos as well, and here we are!
In this video I spend time playing some of your indie games and give some (hopefully) valuable feedback on gamedesign and overall gamedevelopment. Whether you're using Unity, Unreal, Godot, GameMaker or literally any other engine or language, doesn't matter. What matters is that I want to help you create the best game possible. Let that be a cool volleyball game, a slenderman-like game in sewers, a challenging and massive building puzzle game, or a tricky 3D platformer. I'm here for all of it!
I look forward to making more of these in the future, so let me know if you'd be interested😁

Maybe i have a great feedback for you, to turn things more eyecatching make the phases separed by worlds(Water, Fire, Air, Earth and things like that), Every world have different trophies to catch and when you get all, you receive a different trophy for completing and receive a new move, that can help you through another worlds. Like de Gliding could be a move received in the water world and can access areas in the air world that can't be before just like a metroidvania. If you want more ideas i can join you in a discord and test and help in ideas, i'm a game designer and like that part of the creation :D

@TheShelfman
@TheShelfman 2 жыл бұрын
I'd disagree. While the tutorial can teach me how to play the game, I doubt it would have introduced every single possible object. Even if it did, allowing the player to use them all from the start makes the possibilities endless, which I experienced as overwhelming.

@radigan777
@radigan777 Жыл бұрын
@@TheShelfman rethinking this, i would agree that 4 tutorial levels is not really enough to show off 5 pages of equipment, i think i was just taking that as "oh my gosh i can't believe you would say something like that to the developer!" when it was just honest and fair criticism, sorry about that, you were definitely right, there are some games that introduce stuff better, sort of like TABS, with it slowly unlocking pages of stuff for you to mess with after having fought against it. sorry for wasting your time lol.
