Now just add a small 12v battery in the front and run some headlights and taillights. Then put a spoiler on it. And I’d say maybe think about a TURBO!

The more I look at the back, the more I feel SN95 Mustang taillights would work well. The 94 to 95 taillights. Maybe Foxbody LX style tailpipes. Just a thought.

All those ideas are great. You could also cover up the front open space with one of those large blue plastic drums, give it a fake hood.

The best looking rafe car bed Ive ever seen. Obviously a hard thing not to jump on in terms of a gokart build. Looks like one out of the box. You are so lucky to have a gokart.

So rad! Pop up headlights, led taillights, and see if you can figure out how to put the original 5 spoke plastic "wheels" as hub caps, would me amazing! May e some sorta floating bracket off the kart wheels or something.

the exhaust popping out of the actual exhaust holes would be amazing. The only thing that worries me is how close the exhaust is to the gas tank. As well as the gas line touching parts of the motor that could get quite hot. I would hate to see all of that work burn. Your version of the car bed is BY FAR the best. Looks so freaking cool. Love the idea of pop up head lights. I think in the future it would be super cool to see a full size bed build. Maybe even a full size lifted bed, for mudding or off road karting. You certainly gained a sub my man! hope to see tons of spin offs and an entire series on this!

Really cool. I've always wanted to do one of these. . Wanted to make a little bit of a hood further up the wheel wells then makeshift windshield . Would look more like a convertible Corvette sort of thing💯

That current wheel setup looks cool wide in the rear skinny up front I’m a fan of the staggered setup only way I’ve seen to get wide tires for 6” wheel is getting slicks

You should seriously consider throwing in some led headlights and taillights into that! ❤ It even has the shapes molded in the plastic! For the tail ones you could paint the whole 'molded' ones black and fit a couple round ones inside. (Or led strips!) And in the front, fog lights in the holes with a grill in the middle and two round ones on each side above, at both sides of the white logo! Even paint the bumpers black too! And small license plates! 😂 Daaang I'd love to make that myself! Lots of potential! 😅

the drum brake band might be installed backwards. you always want the pulling force to also follow the rotation of the wheel. ill try to illustrate with typing. kart direction

Even the song with the street fighter "perfect" producer tag is hoonigan spec. The golden days of hoonigan are gonna be missed. But this project, is what theirs should've been. I was also disappointed by how theirs turned out. Edit: the entire backing music was perfectly hoonigan. So glad their fans are keeping the spirit going. You got yourself a sub.

I wanted a race car bed when I was a kid but my parents told me they were for babies, I wish you had made this a few decades ago I could have proved them wrong. lol I love seeing your videos starting to get more views and some others starting to leave comments. Your projects are really fun and interesting so I'm sure your channel will continue to grow. It seems like it can take ages to get those first milestone in followers and watch hours, then you reach a point and a channel will really take off.

just gotta wire some custom lights into the existing molds, maybe see if you can reuse the original "hub caps" that were on the bed wheels, just to have a bit of a giggle.

It really depends how absurd you want it to look, I'd go all out on it. A Bonnet, headlights and brake lights, turn signals. A ridiculously HIGH chassis mounted style wing/spoiler, wide arches and wider wheels and tyres. Maybe a drift style paint job or a racecar livery.

Man when I was kid I always wanted to do this to one of these but never had the fortune to have one of these beds.

I was hoping you would have kept the wide tires! Looked much more race like. Some underglow blue lights would be cool and headlights. A gamer steering wheel like would make it look more cartoon /child like as well if that is possible.
