Actually, it isn’t, as it isn’t a pretty language with mostly pretty words, and most languages are not pretty - the truly alpha languages that all should be learning are the prettiest languages ever created Norse / Icelandic / Dutch / English / Norwegian / Gothic / Faroese / Danish / Welsh / Breton / Cornish which are the most heavenly and refined and poetic languages ever with the coolest sound patterns and sounds and pronunciation rules and the most organized aspect that are way too pretty not to know, and they are also the most fun to learn and speak and hear and see, instead of trying to learn non-pretty languages! (Japanese and Chinese languages and Korean etc are non-pretty languages with mostly non-pretty words that sound funny and harsh and angry, and there is no logical reason to learn languages that aren’t pretty and professional and serious sounding, and most other languages also, and, choosing wisely (only the pretty and easy languages) is key to being a successful polyglot!)

Some sentences in Icelandic / Norse / Dutch that I tend to revise a lot and analyze in detail... (The words in these languages are just so pretty, they are áddìctive, and so poetic, I definitely wish I had learnt them in childhood!)

Pfff, what ns and db response - all I stated is an obvious objective fact, and one that tries to deny the truth has hern issues or maybe ear and eye issues, and it’s a fact that Esperanto is just on the avrg-pretty side, not even close to being one of the best languages lol, besides, it doesn’t have diversity and variation as it only has one boring word ending for each group of words, and its grammar is very incorrect and doesn’t sound right at all, and even its plurals are kinda funny, and there shouldn’t be an i / y sound right after an o sound, as it’s not a good letter combination, and it doesn’t sound right at the end of the word, and it can only sound okay when in combination with certain letters!

Good luck with russian. I have been studying that language on my own for 4 years. I can write on my keyboard with russian letters, i can write the language with a pen in cursive. But you have to understand that russian is a bigger headache than you think. Every word connects to a case. The problem is to remember it all and it works differently than english language. я в этом сомневаюсь. I doubt this. In bad english it would be "i doubt in this". Not only the verbs has this but also the nouns. So if i would say я отправил заявку на получение денег. You can already see in this sentence that отправил means заявка has to be заявку because it is accusative with the verb отправить and then we have заявка which needs to be на что-либо accusative case and then after that we put деньги into the чего-либо (genetive case) so then its денег. Its hard man to remember all this. And you can learn all the spelling rules you want but it is always going to be some nasty noun conjugations. Thats something i realized after 4 years. That all the verbs and nouns connects to different cases that we are not used to. I focused alot on verbs in the beginning and drank vodka heavily 3 times a week, played the accordeon and listened to russian music while communicating and writing down new verbs. I wish you luck. Like you said in the other video the language really ruins your mental health. Mine was broken down to 5% for a long time.

You may want to try learning Toki Pona. You can easily learn it in about a week, right before your next predicted anime relapse (I am therapist of anime). Once relapsed, you will lose about a couple of days learning Japanese until you will understand each line of the last episode, plus about three days of mourning. Relapses will be frequent, about once every two weeks, but it will get better over time. Stay strong and "o wawa sina. o kama sona e toki pona a!"

Learning Toki Pona makes you lose braincells. Not because the language can, but because you're brainwashed by the creator herself to mindlessly overrate Toki Pona online and eventually become a KZfaqr.

Stay strong! Battling such addiction as anime might require medical treatment such heroin or cocaine injections to compensate withdrawal symptoms. You did a right thing when you went to your medical specialist. I hope your anime condition isn’t as severe after all you’ve beenge through…

A very interesting and fascinating language you could get yourself into learning is Basque. Once you look more into the Basque language, it becomes very evident how unique and interesting it is. That's my suggestion for you. 😁

I quit learning Japanese on Duolingo back in September. It was around my birthday too. I decided I was gonna go back to learning Mandarin Chinese five to six days a week and do Korean on the weekends. I'm so glad I did. I could be done with my Mandarin Chinese course on Duolingo later on this year. The next three sections have less than 20 units. But, I know I can't rush through it and I won't. Mandarin Chinese is most recommended to learn next to Spanish. I don't think I'll ever live or work in Japan and if I do visit I'll just be a tourist. I stopped keeping in touch with my Japanese penpals most of whom live in Japan or another Asian country. I live in the Eastern US so there's a big time difference. It just made more sense for me to stop learning Japanese and go back to Mandarin Chinese considering all the factors. Some people will continue learning Japanese for fun. I personally don't want to just learn a language for fun. I want to be able to use it.
