This recap series has been so fun to follow along with! I had also started a full-series marathon around the same time (long time fan of books 1-3, but first time read for everything post-Memnoch) so getting your updates - usually within a week or two of my own timeline - has been such a lovely post-read treat to look forward to. Your perspective is genuinely so funny and refreshing (and usually much needed, given the absolutely batshit content in some of these books). With the massive size of the chronicles I’m sure many of us would genuinely love to see a full-series retrospective/ranking episode from you one day in the future!

Thanks for all of your reviews. I've read most of the vampire books, all but Vitterio and Pandora. Watching your reviews reminds me of all of the events now that there's a series so that i can determine book from tv. I noticed that Ann Rice also had Werewolf stuff and I'll probably start reading them next.

Anne Rice should have stopped with Queen of the Damned imo. Her later books are absurd. I'm only happy that my favorite vampire Daniel is not a part of these shenanigans. I hope he's far away with new companions living his best undead life.

I get the impression that a lot of these books can be happily unread. Anne Rice should have quit when she was ahead, but she always seemed to be to be a very troubled lady, and these books were records of her spiritual quest. Wonder if she died feeling it was solved. Well she's found the answers now. Maybe she could dictate more books to a nice psychic.

You should read her non supernatural books like The Feast of All Saints and Cry to Heaven
