@RX120D
@RX120D Жыл бұрын
@@EricMorettin I like the hyper-specificity of pre-EQ like this. You're essentially getting similar functionality out of that EQ as you would get from the tonestack on a Mesa Mark series amp. People always find those so hard to dial in, but if you understand that the B/M/T knobs are just pre-EQ and the Graphic is where you sculpt the balance of the tone afterward, you're golden. Being able to apply distortion to a frequency range is so powerful. OD pedals are cool, but man, Pre-EQ is so affordable and much more powerful in my opinion. I love it.

Lol I bought the Amplitube Dimebag collection for like £30 and it sounds spot on, all fully tweakable too as if you had the full set up in front of you. Yeah with the prices of the gear that I highlighted in the video, it's hard to justify spending it all when you can buy a plug-in that is certified by dimebag's former guitar tech. You can also get some pretty stellar tones from other high end modelers that come real close.

I think it might be good to profile these things on some software so that each part including the entire chain can be digitally archived. Lots of music history that could just disappear once it all breaks. As you also have all his original gear you could also settle the debate of what sounds best. Bill Lawrence USA Ceramic pickups vs Bill N Becky Wylde L500XL vs Seymour Duncan Dimebucker. Add in an EMG81 and Dimarzio X2N and you have a massive collection of rail pickups that are super high output.

DO NOT ORDER FLANGER/DOUBLER FROM DBEffects! They screwed up the wiring of THE AC POWER cord going into my pedal so it died as soon as I plugged it in, and never took ownership of the fact. It's a shame because the working ones sound awsome. But awful customer service, considering fucking up the colours for live and neutral is a massive deal. I was going to send it back and not make waves, but the last attitude laden email, , and the vibe I get that they're money grabbing crooks, who probably wouldn't refund me even if I sent it back, means it's war! Most arrogant people who won't own up to their mistake even when I have a multimeter on it with photos! So, there's a video coming soon, with screen shots of emails, to show you how bad it could be. You make up your own mind, but til then, just stop! Buy a Mimiq instead!
