ea's builds look like the no mistakes build challenge

u know kayla’s proud of her build when she says “i don’t think this is bad”

At this point I'm firmly convinced they make such building mistakes purposely to push players to modify the builds and play around with build mode. There's... no other explanation.

The original build seemed more accurate to what some train stations actually look like. The stairs all around the lot reminds me of the some of the stations I see going along California. It reminded me a lot of the Santa Barbara Amtrak station for some reason. Accurate to life is not always as good. When I look at that original build I could smell the...urine.

I think the back porch layout is meant to look like a train station.

I guess the smaller room with the missing furniture was ment to be kind of a dance floor maybe? There is a jukebox on the wall so it made some sence and since there are no actual dancefloors in basegame or eco lifestyle they couldn't put one down.

The "weird" back porch was definitely supposed to be the platform where you get on and off the train.

It's called The Caboose, so they were trying to mimic a train station. Not saying they did well, just saying what they were trying to do. 😉

The porch layout is meant to look like a train station platform. Hence why the pole/beams are in the middle as some older styled train stations do that.

Lilsimsie, do a house using only debug items. Plumbella just did that. I believe in you. She did great, but you can try to do better

So I got the ECO pack for my birthday from my husband...and I started my family and she ended up trying for baby in the dumpster and she had 2 girls. Trasha and Cannie

I been playing rags to riches in my own game and during the 2nd dumpster dive I found a money tree seed (they give you 8k a day once fully grown) so my sims are already rich

When I'll get the Eco Lifestyle, I'll make here a restaurant. For me, it looks like a great place for this kind of lot

This pack has a lot of "minor mistakes" which I find pretty unprofessional for how big the game is

EA pack builders are wild. I honestly don't know how these small mistakes get passed them. Like, even when I'm making a quick build there's less mistakes than this. This is their JOB.

Funny how this build is named The Caboose (I don't know if that is the right spelling) and in Arabic a caboose is a nightmare. 😂

The empty space appears to me like a possibility of a dancefloor ? And if u have that pack u could add it maybe? The different color of the window... maybe should give it more flair of the "renovated train station"? The columns maybe to support the appearance of a local train station of one of the ea creator's hometowns? - I don't know and maybe wanted to give it a slightly broken look with that strange roof. Can I just say how proud I am of lilsimsie’s builds recently. The change and exploration of styles with the builds. I love it💕

The weirdness of the back deck in the original build is that it's the boarding platform for the trains. We have converted railway stations in my city and they all have that slightly weird deck/stairs combo, so I think they were actually going for realistic here :) Love this idea!

How do you not notice that a window is a different swatch??? I im bothered when the woodtones don't match. Do the people that make this only get 30 min to build?

It looks like the deck on the build is supposed to be platforms - as if this place is a refurbished rail station and they were the old platforms you’d stand on.

So that porch, and the weird columns. It's because it's a platform at a train station, just replicated with sims conventions. Many train stations, particularly at the end of the line, have that weird uneven shape, but it's a restricted area. Maybe it's a location thing but it was immediately recognizable as a rural/regional style train platform for me XD

I struggle with insomnia but your videos are an amazing distraction and they actually help especially that you upload videos so often. You are awesome 🙌🏽

I think you definitely did well. I like how big the difference was, because even if it had a lot of major mistakes, it looked like a train station, but it's a BAR. A place can DEFINITELY be inspired by something completely different, but it still has to stay with the ORIGINAL concept, and you did just that. The BAR is a with a train station INSPIRED theme. You delivered it well, and I like the add of a logo (it makes it professional to me, even if it is just a game). You stayed with the concept, but you gave it MORE than that: personality, fun touches and details, yet kept the professionalism and sophistication a bar deserves. I really like and enjoy how you mixed YOUR personality with the game's ORIGINAL concept. Good job!

theres a restaurant in an old train station near where i live so watching this was equal parts infuriating and satisfying bc on one hand this is so much less weird and kitschy than it but on the other i kept wanting to backseat-build you bc "obviously that should be...."

There's an old train station in my city that was converted into a pet store! My dad remembers when it was still a station. I'll see if I can get some photos of the place, it's really nice!

Sooo the bar looks like a European old waiting room next to the train station, where you can buy the tickets or you can wait for your next train. We have the same kind of buildings in Hungary, that's why the porch is so big and everything. Maybe they closed the waiting room and made it into a bar/pub. It reminds me my hometown's waiting room.
