The Whoosh is the fastest high speed railway in South East Asia and second fastest on Earth with a top speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It was launched on October 14th, 2023. Currently, its only route is between Jakarta and Bandung. Upon arrival in Bandung there is a feeder train available that provides free transportation from Padalarang Station to Bandung Station in central Bandung.
In the episode, my girlfriend and I take our first ever ride on the new bullet train and transfer to the feeder, which takes us to the heart of downtown Bandung.

At 350km/h, it is the fastest high-speed rail system currently operating on the planet. Only China and Indonesia have it. And only China has the ability to build high-speed railroads and trains across all terrain and geological conditions.

I live in Bandung, but I work in Jakarta with a hybrid work arrangement. I only go to the office once or twice a week and this bullet train saves me time a lot. It's crazy 🤣

Watching your video while I was on the bullet train from Shanghai to Beijing, and it has reached 350km/h as well. Exact same design as the Chinese one with a familiar feeling.

The Shanghai - Beijing HST has existed for over a decade and it WAS 350kmh INITIALLY..... but for stupid reasons it was brought "down" to 300kmh. *The Shanghai - Beijing HST was brought back to 350kmh IN 2017 AND HAS NEVER CHANGED.* The Jarkarta - Bandung *has ONLY been in operation for A FEW MONTHS.*

Top speed KCIC 400 AF ini memiliki top speed 450 km/hrs,tapi untuk speed yang di izinkan hanya di 350 km/hrs. Karena track yang di lintasi 50 % nya adalah pegunungan yang melewati banyaknya tunnel dan tikungan.
