I can't tell you how much it means to me that these plugins will be appearing in new dedicated players and be pay what you want... I thought they were all gone forever! Can't wait to be in a place to buy everything, but I'll be over the moon to play with these in the mean time.

I like the sound, especially with the saturation, seems it could make great arpeggiated lines. Will go buy it now to support you for this kind gesture.

Bought it, worth it. I'd just add a HP filter, and an ADSR envelope. If you had a version with articulations for slides would be cool too though that's more work than filter and ADSR. Put through the excellent IK MIXBOX filters and autowah it can turn into beautiful lead sounds nearing a Daft Punk sound. (recommend Mixbox at $30 it's super super good value esp for filters) Nice one Jon, your efforts bring joy to others, that is satisfaction.

Have you seen/tried a Babolat Vibrakill for a quick rubber bridge "hack". It's for a tennis racquet but fits a guitar pretty perfectly if you want a quick rubber bridge sound without having to permanently mod anything.

Thank you for all your inspiring work! Any thoughts about potentially releasing AUv3 versions that would also work on iOS? I work almost exclusively on an iPad and have been enjoying your older DecentSampler prototypes that way (especially soft drums - love it!). I'd be thrilled to be able to use your newer prototypes on iOS. Keep up the great work, I'm a fan.

Love this. I'm curious, did you prefer to make it not for Kontakt? Or was that a necessity for some reason? I have the full Kontakt so don't really care too much either way but wanted to ask. Sounds super nice!

HAVEN`T EVEN DOWNLOADED IT YET, but, if I may anticipate myself: Does the plug-in give us the ability to set a custom path for the samples? I think it really should! It would make a whole lot of difference to me! Other than that, thank you for your services, my good sir!

Currently, you can set up a custom path for the windows version, but not mac. This is connected more to the installer itself instead of the plugin. Be assured that I am researching installers further in hopes to include this feature for mac users in the future.

Kontakt not required. Prototype is its own plugin that works in all major DAWs for Mac and Windows.

Will future instruments/libraries use the same player or each have their own dedicated one? My thoughts are on the difference between, Spitfire vs Decent (or Kontakt), if that makes sense.

Each instrument will likely be it's own individual plugin. This allows us to utilize different processors for each instrument and set up unique DSP networks. There are definitely advantages for each case, so I am experimenting with the expansion approach to more deeply understand the pros and cons.

Do you see the plugin itself on your computer? Like in your folder for VST3, Components (AU), or AAX plugins?

Mine does not show up in any of my daws as vst3. I tried in NI Maschine 2.17 software, Studio One 6 and Bitwig studio 5. All 64 bit

Same problem here, the installer seems to create an empty "Prototype Rubber Bridge" folder in my Vstplugins folder, no .dll or .vst3
