Saw King Gizzard on their last tour at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle, it was me and my girlfriend’s first fight. It was a fist fight, we won.

Milwaukee's set was nuts. Cookie sang down the sink, Cavs surfed the crowd, and they ended on a 30 minute head on/pill jam that had a few other tracks nestled in.

They just fullscreened Windows Media Player from windows XP on the big screen

Man, this concert was so good, especially when Stu burned down the venue.

Some bands can't recreate the magic produced in the studio. Some legends produce live music that can't be reproduced in a studio. King Gizz and Liz Wiz are that rare breed. They are better live than they are in the studio. It's that simple. These are talented musicians. I have nothing further to add.

I went to see them at Perth, Australia last minute before they closed the tickets online. Oh boy, I don't remember much of the night, I ended up making a new friend and bought the tour shirt. I really enjoyed their concert and line-up.

King Gizz is always one of my favorite shows of the year when I can see them. Their sets flow so effortlessly. The crowd is always fun and it feels like everyone is experiencing something special.

I love that Gizzard changes up their setlist with each show. I went to the Seattle show and they played a much different show song wise. They opened on Self-Immolate which was super cool.

Just saw them in New York. My favorite part of the show was when the electronic signs for the venue changed from white to dark blue and everyone thought they were dimming the lights and started cheering for a random sound guy who picked up a guitar.

I got to see them a few weeks ago in SF, I’m glad you saw them yourself and made a review pointing out what makes them such a great live performance

They ended the Denver show with Bitter Boogie and it faded out into like a 5 min jam with Ambrose's vocals, it was sexy

I wish they played Tezeta for this show just so you could come to appreciate Sketches of Brunswick East after you meme’d on it because it’s fantastic live

I've had the pleasure of seeing them live twice, and I found in a festival setting they have more energy. Having just a short time for their set they really go all out in every song and it's super impressive

Saw them earlier this year in Sydney, just after self immolate dropped. The crowd was very high energy, and the set list really leant itself to a pit focused crowd, with tracks from Nonagon and MOTF being weaved together. Definitely my favourite band both live and in studio.

Saw them last night at Summerstage (Central Park NYC). Great show and I completely agree with all of your comments. Looking at the footage from your show, I would say the outdoor setting really enhanced the set as it gave it more of a festival feel. I have never seen them live before but looking at some of the performances like the KEXP ones on youtube I would say that they are just laid back. I would love to see them again but the dates don't work for me this tour. Next time around for sure.

It's crazy seeing them playing huge venues like this. I've seen them 3 times in their hometown Melbourne, every time at small intimate venues and every time better than the last. I imagine something might be lost when the entire venue isn't one big mosh, but I'm so proud that they're able to do this overseas. Also Anthony, it's pronounce Moog like 'Vogue', and I believe the keyboard they're using on stage is a Nord Electro

Seen them 6 times or so (luckily live in sydney so they frequent here). Each gig has been fantastic!!! They bring the hype of proper metal shows with the sounds of psych rock. The crowd is always rowdy but friendly. Definitely a must see once in your life

Hey Melon! I Was at the New Haven concert on the 27th that you were at! There were some rumors that you were coming to the concert because they heard that you were in the area from some concertgoers. I wasn't close to you (I think you were in the second row of the floor from what I heard), because I was in the mosh. It became confirmed when you posted the pic on your snapchat (I saw it on the subreddit). There was actually some guys going around looking for you, I thought you were in the balcony, but that turned out to be false. I still can't believe you didn't stay to meet the band after the show, they came out 20 minutes or so after the show and met the fans. I think it would've been pretty cool if you showed up, and even cooler if Stu or one of them recognized you. Anyway, it's super cool that we were at the same show!

Saw them in Toronto this past tour and agreed that it was a fucking blast. Very diverse setlist too, starting with Infest the Rats' Nest songs and transitioning to some lighter stuff and even Tezeta. Very fun crowd too!

Saw Gizzard in a tiny venue of about 200 people at the end of 2017. Insane show, feel incredibly lucky to have seen them in that setting

Twin drummers have always blown my mind and was a part of what stoked my interest in Gizz. I'm no drummer but that seems like it would be super difficult to accomplish, and they do it effortlessly. I really like the effect of it on songs where they alternate hi-hats.

I saw their show in Portland, OR two weeks ago. Really awesome, plus it was the day that Infest The Ray's Nest was released, so they played the entire record. Totally agree with most of your points, the crowd was really interesting and one of the most varied audiences I have ever seen.

5:50 the synths used on Cyboogie were Roland synths (Juno-106) and I believe the vocals go through a Korg Microkorg Vocoder

I saw em with Stonefield and ORB back on the 24th of August in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom, it was fantastic to say the least. Honestly the best show I've ever been to - the whole crowd of 5,000 people jammed together in the interior of the venue were just constantly moving and having a rad time. Would highly suggest seeing them if given the chance. Their show in SLC a week or so ago was so intense! Maybe it was more of the crowds energy but holy hell it was one of the funnest shows I had been to in awhile. So Jealous you got some Crumbling Castle action! We didn't get CC but sounds like most of the setlist was similar.

Yo Anthony, I got a comment (if you read comments, not sure), you complained about the narrative vocals on Murder of the Universe but if you got the vinyl copy you would have seen there’s a book that comes with it! It makes the narrative read more like a story and understandable. A very creative idea that’s well executed if you have the vinyl!

Idk if its a melbourne thing, but they have amazing energy when I see them live.. Actually have met all of them individually except for Stu the illusive egg. They are all very chilled and very gracious people.. I think they are great role-models for anyone aspiring to be in the business. If any of the band see this - i’m sorry but no matter how many times I see yall around the city, I will be starstruck every time.
